Everlasting Kingdom: Unraveling the Bible’s Secrets

The objective of this site is to unravel and display as many of Father’s (Yehovah’s) secrets as possible. These article selections serve as a topical Bible commentary. The Bereans had the right approach. With unfurled scrolls they challenged the assumptions of others—if not for others, at least for themselves. The other index on this site is to my four Biblical commentary books: Mysteries of the Everlasting Kingdom

Does Your Church Have the Correct Name? Does it really matter what a church calls itself? What did God call HIS people? Answering these questions will help clear up the church name question. You might be surprised to find out that Yehovah, the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob never calls His people “the church of God”.

A Community or a Congregation?—Should there be a plurality of elders or a pastor? Was it intended for one man to have the authority of a king among a group of Commandment Keepers? Linked July 22, 2012

Binitarian View: One God, Two Beings Before The Beginning: “Was either unitarianism or trinitarianism the original view of the New Testament Church? The Bible clearly teaches from the beginning that God [Elohim] is one, yet currently composed of two members. This was also the view of the immediate post-New Testament Church and binitarian beliefs have been clearly held throughout Church history. Modern scholars are now coming to the same conclusion. Although some might prefer to use the term Ditheist or Dualist instead of Binitarian, those terms suggests that God is not one (yet God is one family).” (This is an incredibly good article, despite being written from a “Church Era” perspective—which denies that Yehovah is working with Seven Assemblies—here and now!)

Can you trust the “New Testament Scriptures” as Yehovah’s Divine Word? Some are questioning the veracity of The Testimony (the “New Testament”). Some Messianic/Hebrew roots teachers are now questioning whether the 27 books of the Testimony were all divinely inspired. Some are even taking it upon themselves to begin tossing out certain books, such as the Letter to the Hebrews, from the Testimony, claiming that they were not inspired by our Father, and that some books were later to the canon of Scripture by the proto-Catholic Church. Who decided which books belong in the Bible, and when did they do it? What is the real story? Linked 2/09

Enoch and Elijah: Did they enter into Heaven?

“MYSTERY BABYLON”: The “ancient mystery religion” of Babylon taught about everlasting agony in hades, hoping to paralyze the wicked pursuits of the populace. Similarly, it also emphasized the idea of instant gratification at the gates of heaven, and the eternal bliss of the “immortal soul”, to keep the oppressed pacified. Pythagoras, a pagan Greek, and then Plato (probably closet humanists) perpetuated these highly effective tactics, which soon spread thru the Roman Empire. From there the “mysteries” branched out into Hermeticism, Neoplatonism, and Gnosticism. “MYSTERY BABYLON”: quickly contaminated even the teachings of Yeshua (Jesus) the Nazarene, which in essence remains the resurrection of mysticism—Neoplatonism and Hermeticism—calling itself Christian. Later the Arab adaptation became Sufism and Shiism. The same mysteries were also spread by the Rosicrucians and the Freemasons. In fact the Mysteries were almost universally accepted until they began being replaced by Darwinism. The following links identify the most easily recognized MARKS of “MYSTERY BABYLON”, condemned in the Revelation 17.

1) Do you have an immortal soul?
2) Heaven, will we go there?
3) Soft on Hell?

The Origin of Valentine’s Day and the Heart Symbol Valentine is a Roman saint whose festival is celebrated on February 14. The practice of sending love tokens on this date apparently originated in a Roman custom of boys drawing girls’ names by lot in honor of the goddess Juno Februalis at the Lupercalia festival which was celebrated at about the same date, turning fornication into a game.

St. Patrick—Catholic or Sabbatarian? The Rest of the Story!

The Truth on Easter Where did Christianity get Easter? Disciples were present at Yeshua’s (Jesus’) crucifixion but in ignorance, none were present at His resurrection. Could they have been more right than we have supposed? After all, which event does the Bible say to commemorate? Don’t read about the 4000 year long history of Easter unless you are either prepared to quit cold turkey or have a guilty conscience! Historical references compiled by Kenneth Hoeck in 1998.

The Rapture Theory is not exactly of pagan origin but ascending to heaven forever is. There are many articles available on the net exposing this 19th century notion popularized by John N. Darby, founder of the “Brethren”. Apparently he plagiarized these notions, according to The Unbelievable Pre-Trib Origin by Dave MacPherson. Many web searches using “John Darby” and “rapture” will thoroly debunk the notion scripturally. However I could not find a suitable article on the topic due to the many alternative viewpoints being expounded. Preterists, like MacPherson, claim that the prophecies of Revelation, etc. occurred in the first century. Others say that Christians have to “tough out” the Great Tribulation with no divine intervention. Why not forget the rapture and check out New Jerusalem! Where Will You Be During the Great Tribulation?—

The X-mas Files Where did Christianity get “Christmas”? Is it really “Christ’s Mass”? The evidence contradicting the popularly held notion that Christ ever had anything to do with Christmas is historically overwhelming! Could “committing” Christmas be a sin? Compiled by Ken Hoech.

The Truth About NEW YEAR'S! How did the celebration of New Year’s Eve begin? Why is the beginning of a year placed in the dead of winter? And where did the many customs surrounding it originate? MOST people carelessly assume that celebrating New Year’s Eve is a Christian custom. But did the practice of “waiting the old year out” really come from the Bible? Is January 1 the true beginning of a new year? Who has the AUTHORITY to determine when a new year begins?

EARNEST MARTIN’S ARTICLES

What to do? The late E.L. Martin (no known relative) produced some fascinating articles. Yet overall, I consider him to have been deceived—having given up Yehovah’s Torah, complete with the Sabbath and the Feast Days, etc. He assembled some astonishing truths from his study of history. Yet we parted paths on what to do with the information. If you have not read my disclaimer—I would recommend that you do to understand the limitations of my endorsement. These fascinating articles are recommended, but quite cautiously:

1) Don’t Go to Church! The Tyndale “New Testament” of 1525 did not use the word “church” at all, except once for a pagan temple. It used the word “congregation”. Martin Luther detested the word too. It was actually King James who insisted that the word “church” be substituted for “congregation” in the KJV (with 90% stolen from the executed “heretic” Tyndale) and James’ reasoning was quite sinister. Is it only a matter of semantics or is there much more to it? The word “church” is directly derived from the name of the pagan goddess Circe! I was looking for a good Circe/church article and did not find it, until I found yet another Martin article: The Anatomy of a Church. (Essentially a continuation of Female Sex signs.)

2) Female Sex Signs in the Churches Where did stained glass windows and steeples come from? While these things can actually be traced back to ancient pagan Babylon, this article describes the astonishing level of knowledgeable complicity of the religious establishment. This type of information is available elsewhere but maybe not in this short and concise format.

3) The Secret of Ancient Religion Revealed!—Part 1 “People used to wonder what the “Mysteries” [as in MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT—Revelation 17:5] actually revealed to those who went through all the ceremonies. It can now be known! Some historical events occurred that revealed all their symbolic meanings. These events were major breakthroughs that disclosed the secret teachings reserved only for the elite of the ancient world. We know what the “Mystery” teaching was!”—Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D, 1982, Edited by David Sielaff, February 2003

4) The Secret of Ancient Religion Revealed!—Part 2 “Pagan idolatry (in which images made of stones, metals, woods, etc., were used) had its origin only about 3500 to 3600 years ago. It developed at a time when almost the entire world went into a wholesale idolatry. The series of historical events that brought about its evolution occurred within a one-hundred to a two-hundred year period. The biblical record shows that hardly anyone in the civilized world used images through which to worship God, and then suddenly the whole world seems to have gone over to the error of using material substances to worship God.”—Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D, 1982

***************

Tammuz and the Lunar Sabbath This audio recording by Nehemia Gordon (a cuddly Anti-Messiah, a Karaite) explains how Jewish months and English weeks have been usurped by pagans, covering over the Biblical truth underneath both systems. In case you are wondering, the Lunar Sabbath is nonsense.

This site examines the belief that the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is exclusively ‘the word of God’ for us today. In these pages, you will find information about the history of KJV and Bible translation in general, detailed examiniation of many KJV-only arguments, facts supporting other versions, and similar information you can use to capably respond to KJV-onlyism when you encounter it.” Linked 8/4/12

The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus This article does an in depth debunking of the mythology about this parable. It is really all about the coming Judgment Day. I only wish that the timing of Judgment Day were explained as I do in Are the “Unsaved” Lost? Linked 4/4/09

Was the New Testament Really Written in Greek? Snookered again! Certainly we can at least all agree on something as basic as the “New Testament” being originally written in Greek—right? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I had heard the claims that the Greek Testimony was translated from Aramaic, and had virtually dismissed the claims as being ridiculous—until I peeked at the evidence! Once I began reading it I could not rest until I finished it. Here is conclusive evidence that the idea of an “original Greek NT” was a successful stratagem perpetrated by the Roman Catholic Church and perpetuated by blind guides under the guise of “scholarly consensus”! Disclaimer; Linked 10/27/07

Was the [Greek] Septuagint the Bible of Christ and the Apostles? Or did it not even exist until Origen ‘originated’ it 200 years later?

Proving the Calendar If you have never read a calendar article—read this one first, it is relatively short and covers all of the basics. Who decides when it’s an Appointed Time, and how?

Mathematical Bias and the Biblical Calendar This article by Shawn Richardson, sent to me by a friend (1/3/22), should contain about everything a person would need to know to consider celebrating the Feasts and Festivals on the intended days! (Don’t forget to drag in a side to narrow the wide viewing field!)

Then there are six articles by Frank Nelte concerning the calculation of Yehovah’s (God’s) Feast and Festival Days; as contrasted to how the Worldwide Church of God, a pioneer effort promoting the Days, understood them. The historical commentary is quite good and there is much useful information. Frank has written many very informative articles on the subject, but we actually disagree on what initiates a Day, a Month and a New Year! He still uses the International Date Line instead of Jerusalem to begin the Day; astronomically calculated “invisible lunar conjunctions” instead of actual observation of the crescent moon from Jerusalem to determine when a New Moon (Karaite site) begins; and the equinox instead of the maturity of barley, to begin the Year. The parameters for determining a Scripturally correct calendar are readily apparent (visible). All you need to understand is 1) When does a day begin; 2) when does a week begin and end with the Sabbath); 3) when does a month begin; and 4) when does the year begin!

The New Testament Church and the Calendar

When Are The Biblical Feasts and Festivals This Year—Really?

When Did Ancient Israel Keep the Passover?

What is the Biblical “New Moon”?

In addition to these articles, there is one chapter from Immanuel Velikovsky’s book: Worlds in Collision, p.316, Part Two, CHAPTER VIII concerning The YEAR OF 360 DAYS. “Numerous evidences are preserved which prove that prior to the year of 365 1/4 days, the year was only 360 days long.” The evidences that the world of 747 BC, had a 360 day year is proven by ancient texts found on every part of the globe: Perhaps you are aware of the prophetic 360 day year mentioned in the Bible, but did you know that historically there is proof from nations all over the globe that calendars were all based on a 360 day year until about 700 BC? Cosmic disturbances disrupted that and incidentally, cosmic disturbances will also bring the perfect lunar year back!

Mark of the Beast – Here NOW? Is it just for those who happen to be alive at the end of the age? What about the Mark of Yehovah? This article delves into aspects of obedience to Yehovah, and disobedience, applicable thruout the ages. (My standard disclaimer always applies to the rabbit trails associated with most topics of discussion. I do have hope for a lot of “good people” who live without ever knowing the purpose of life, even at the close of this age: Are the “Unsaved” Lost? Renewed Covenant?)

Should you have a Minister, Pastor, Rabbi or Guru? I’ve heard three of the audios from 119 Ministries, and I decided to link to this one: “The Church: His Model”. I do of course disagree with their choice of terminology—starting with “Church”, as well as “New Testament”, “Scripture” etc.

Another Perspective on Parables The account hiding behind this humble sounding title really makes crystal clear the purpose for seven of Yeshua’s (Jesus’) parables. I seriously doubt that you have considered anything like this before. Are the so-called Parables of the Kingdom really just fuzzy notions about the coming Kingdom or could they have to do with the present realities of our time?

Biblical Divorce and Re-Marriage Great news, Yehovah is fair! While this article came from what I would call a mainstream source, the approach is quite well balanced and extremely Biblically supported. There are a couple of peripheral comments that I would, of course, disagree with but the overall conclusion is quite uncommonly sensible.—Frank L. Caw, Jr.

“Church” Incorporation: The Road to Ruin! This article explains the evil, useless and plain foolish idea incorporating Father’s people into another “governing authority”. Assemblies and Churches unhindered by government restrictions are known as “Free Churches”.

“Christian” Rock Music: Christian or Satanic? Some still speak out! This offsite link has many quotations (in the latter half of the article) from a wide variety of sources all pointing to the same answer. Also recommended are select Quotations from Mickey Hart. The power of the beat can be used for evil.

Did God Really Forsake Jesus Christ on the Cross? “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me”? The statement that Yeshua cried out as he was hanging on the cross has been a source of much confusion and debate among the “saints” thru the years. Some teach that Yeshua (Jesus) became sin, and because Yehovah cannot look on sin, He forsook His Son. The actual explanation was on a link to a Unitarian web site, written by an anonymous person. I posted the link anyway. I believe the title died out entirely, but is now out in several versions such as this one. As always, I seldom if ever endorse every detail on a link, but this conclusion is inescapable. Yeshua served His Kingdom, died for it, and got to return alive to His anxiously awaiting Father, receiving a heroes welcome and an “award” of honor, never to be forgotten.

Disfellowship! Should people be put out of an assembly for disagreeing over scripture or administrative issues? Does Yehovah want His Disciples to think for themselves without the threat of excommunication? What did Yeshua mean when He said: “17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a [heathen] or a tax collector.” Why should someone be disfellowshipped? If someone is excommunicated, are the ministry and other Discipless NEVER to speak to that person again? The Words of ALOHA makes the truth PLAIN!—Keith Hunt

Do You Know Your Savior? This tape does a very good job of countering the growing Unitarian “One God” false teaching denying that Yeshua (Jesus) is one with His Father. When (Yeshua) said “I and My Father are One”, He really meant it!—Don Esposito (My second hand tape does not have the date). Ask for this title by name. At the bottom of his web page is a snail mail address.

FOOD and the BIBLE Were all animals created for human consumption? Are the dietary laws of Leviticus 11 no longer in effect? Does Yehovah care what we eat? The record shows that Yehovah tried to persuade “one nation under Yehovah” to stop eating scavengers. The only thing that I would add to this article is my personal belief that if you could ask Yehovah what He thinks of today’s junk “food”—He would add extensively to the Leviticus 11 list. Just wait and see—better yet, care about your food now!—Larry R. Lasiter For a more detailed explanation of the effects on health read The Food Laws.

How Does the Eternal Govern Through Humans? Here is the most exhaustive study on “Church” Government that you will ever need to study. I was surfing for an article that was both “death” on the word “church” as well as Biblically thorough on the subject of “Church Government”. This came close. If you have any questions about the role (or lack of it) of the ministry in your life, there will be Biblical answers here! You can quit reading this as soon as you stop finding exceedingly uncommon truths that the churches don’t want you to know about (you won’t)! A major bonus of this “booklet” is the definition of “ordination”. You don’t know what it means, but you really should know! It is another article by Norman Edwards.

The Genesis Creation—What and When Was the “beginning” of Genesis 1:1? The “Gap” Theory versus a 6,000 Year Old Earth. Could both views be right—and wrong? Could both explanations have conclusions based on an assumed premise? Both explanations appear to be Biblically sound. Is it possible that both camps have “missed” the mark due to an unknown factor—a third choice? The controversy is resolved!—Richard Fix

The Mystery of the Two Trees This article begins by confirming that the Garden of Eden was not located where the “experts” say that it was. It was in a far more interesting location. Then it covers an intriguing explanation of what the two trees in the garden really represent and why one tree was forbidden. There is far more to this topic than you might suppose! Part 1 was researched, but not written, by Richard Davis. He does prefer the Samaritan/Catholic name for Father. Part 2 is a “law and grace” article, by an anonymous writer, which does not factor in how Yehovah can EXCUSE people, on Judgment Day, who lived before Christ, or who were “sold” a false means of salvation, or simply lived in the “wrong” country—which is most of humanity for the last 6000 years!—Cornerstone Publications

TITHING: FACT, FICTION, OR FRAUD? Tithing was (and will be in the third temple) for Levites—period. This exhaustive article covers all of the common arguments in support of tithing, (tho my standard disclaimer applies, as in their New Covenant commentary). I don’t have time to write exhaustive papers on self evident articles such as this, but if I did, it would include much of this information. Unfortunately, most articles I’ve seen are also antinomian (there is a pretty good definition on this link), as is this one. However, this site should arm you well against greedy or misinformed religious extortionists. PS: See what numerous honest sources say!

Types of People God is Calling I believe that Yehovah is calling people who are willing to “obey the Commandments of Yehovah, AND have the Testimony of Yeshua.” Ironically, this article was written without that perspective—yet what is here is explained well: “What kind of Assembly or people does God want in these times of trouble on the horizon in front of us? I know one thing for certain. Those people in a hierarchical form of government, who depend on a hierarchy for knowledge, for understanding, for their own salvation as a corporate group—those people are in serious trouble when it comes to the future, if they rely too much on the ministry. The hierarchical system of government in God’s ekklesia is wrong.”—Ernest L. Martin, Ph.D., 1974, Edited and expanded by David Sielaff, June 2004 (I would add Matthew 7:7-8 and Revelation 3:20)

“What is Man’s Ultimate Destiny? Did mankind come into existence through a Supreme Creator? Is there a real purpose for human life? Does your life have real meaning that you have never realized? What will you really be doing for the next ‘thousand generations’? If all that you have ever heard is the ‘heaven or hell thing’, then this article will blow your mind!”—Larry R. Lasiter

Why Were You Born “Was humanity created and put here on the Earth by an intelligent and Almighty Creator for a definite purpose? And if so, just what is that purpose, and why is humanity so totally unaware of it? For Ages Man has desired to know the reason for his very being. He has asked himself: ‘What am I?’ and ‘Why am I?’ These are the ultimate questions of all time. Have you ever asked yourself these questions? If What is Man’s Ultimate Destiny was news to you then you simply must read this one also.”—Larry R. Lasiter

The Nature of Jesus Christ There have always existed two individual Elohim (God) Beings, whom we know as God (Yehovah) the Father and as Jesus (Yeshua) the Christ (Messiah). Yet some claim that Yeshua has not always existed with Yehovah the Father, but that Yeshua was at some point created by Yehovah the Father, claiming that Yeshua didn’t exist until His birth as a baby to Mary. These teachings date back to 4th century Arianism and are based on rejecting clear Biblical statements. This article will clear the air! Frank Nelte’s articles are addressed to a “Church of God” audience. August, 2003

Was Jesus Christ God in the Flesh? While Yeshua (Jesus) was here on earth during His ministry, He was also GOD at that very same time. He was not merely a human being during that time. Is this concept a bewildering ethereal enigma or might there be a simple explanation as to how this could be so. What is it that makes God “God”? This modest explanation demystifies one of the great mysteries of theology in a way that causes you to wonder why there was ever a question!—Frank Nelte, September 2003

Karaite Korner: Ironically, we must go to a Jewish site to learn about the original Feast Day calendar that Yeshua (Jesus) used to determine when to keep these days. It is thoroly covered on this site. Why Messiah’s Saints should keep them is an entirely different matter.

The New Covenant Passover There has long been confusion over the night of Yeshua’s (Jesus’) bread, wine and foot washing ceremony. Was Yeshua celebrating the ancient Israelite Passover a day early, the right day, or not at all? This treatise covers the subject, in exhaustive detail, resolving virtually every Biblical issue. Here is the missing harmony. With this explained; fascinating new implications have come into light—which could (hopefully) affect you the next time you take the symbols of the body and blood of Yeshua the Messiah.—Richard Fix, April 2002. [Note: Richard Fix now rejects the Bible!]

America, Britain & Israel in Prophecy Is “the Whole House of Israel” wholly the Jews? If you think so, then you are missing one of the major points of the whole Bible! In Genesis 17, Yehovah promised that Abraham would be “a father of many nations”, promising “an everlasting possession” by “an everlasting covenant”. Abraham himself prophesied concerning all twelve of his sons “what shall befall you in the last days”. The chronicle even extends to New Jerusalem, where the very gates mention “the twelve tribes of the children of Israel”. This astonishing compilation of books explains Yehovah’s view of this enigmatic topic in a way certain to change your world view forever. Find America, Britain and the rest of the “Lost Ten Tribes” in the pages of your own Bible!

Brit-Am Yair Davidiy has assembled an incredible amount of valuable historical information about who the modern descendants of ancient Israel are and where they are. Being Jewish, he believes that Christians will eventually see the need to convert. However, his focus is on the non Jewish Israeli tribes. He also sends daily email to interested individuals. I do believe that he will be surprised at how the Second Exodus will be carried out when the Two Witnesses show up. Here is a statement from this website:

DID YOU KNOW THAT: According to the Bible ten out of the twelve tribes of Israel split away (1 Kings 12:19), formed their own kingdom of ‘Israel’ (1 Kings 12:20) and were exiled by the Assyrians (2 Kings 17:18). They forgot their identity (Hosea 1:9 7:8 Isaiah 49:21) and became the Lost Ten Tribes. In the future they will re-unite with the Jews of ‘Judah’ (Ezekiel 37, Isaiah 11:13, Jeremiah 3:18) but until then they have a role of their own to fulfill. They were destined to be situated at the continental extremities of the earth such as North America, the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa (Deuteronomy 33:13, Isaiah 24:16, 26:15, 41:8-9, 49:6), to be the richest (Genesis 27:28, 49:25, Deuteronomy 33:13-16, Hosea 2:8), and most powerful nations on earth (Numbers 24:8-7, Micah 5:7-9) and to control major international strategic bases (Genesis 22:16-17, 24:60). All of these points together with numerous others show that descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes can only be found amongst Western Nations especially the English-speaking ones. The correctness of our interpretation of the relevant verses is confirmed by traditional Jewish sources and by the findings of up-to-date historical and scientific research. Your destiny may depend upon this information. You need to know.”

Nebuchadnezzar’s Image Daniel’s vision concerning all of the kingdoms in the cradle of civilization from the beginning of recorded history to the end of this modern age is a fascinating proof of the hand of Yehovah in human destiny. The final drama is drawing near. The world will be forever changed by the events to take place in our generation. The most important aspect of this prophecy is our being able to correctly identify the revived Fourth Kingdom, which will be the next world superpower and John Gill’s online Bible commentary (the above link) does a remarkable job of explaining it. Also see details of the political aspects of the prophecy. Further, consider the religious aspects. I believe that the two legs of the image represented the eastern and western divisions of the Roman Empire.

The Actual Message of Matthew 24 Does the Matthew 24 prophecy really mean what we think it does? Churches quote from this chapter to “prove” that we are already in the end time and that “the return of Christ” is imminent. Are we in the end time? Who was this chapter written to? What is the key to understanding Bible prophecy?—Richard Fix, written August 2000. Revised August 2003. [Note: Richard Fix now rejects the Bible!]

The Coming Last Days Temple: This incredibly detailed book is a wealth of information about Yehovah’s temples—past and future. It demonstrates Yehovah’s temple plan from Genesis to Revelation. It explains why there is no temple in Jerusalem now and explores the current efforts to change that. This will inspire anyone who understands that the rebuilding of the temple must precede the coming of the Messiah. Ininspired? You won’t be after reading this! While a few temple references do allude to the Congregation of Yehovah (“the church”), this work thoroly discredits the notion that “the church” is spiritually fulfilling the many prophecies that only a physical temple can fulfill. I do believe that two major dimensions are missing from this book. Firstly, all twelve tribes will be restored to the land in a great Second Exodus, not just the Jews. Secondly, I believe that the “Two Witnesses” (ministers of Yeshua {Jesus}) will spearhead a massive plan causing the Saints of Yeshua to play an unexpected role in the endeavor, far beyond the merely financial support expected by the writer. Furthermore, the conditions of Zechariah 12, concerning the Jews, (especially note v.10) will be extant! Buy a used copy for perhaps $3 at Amazon.com

The Cryptic Seven Seals of the Apocalypse and Matthew Chapter 24—The Comparison and Explanation What do the seven mysterious seals of the book of Revelation mean? Astonishingly, Matthew chapter twenty-four reveals important insights into the meaning of these seven little understood seals. This article compares the similarities of the “Olivet Prophecy” with the “The Revelation of Yeshua the Messiah”.—Gary Martin 5/15/05

The End-Time Temple For years most churches have taught that the Church is a Spiritual Temple and that Yeshua will return to it at His “Second Coming”. Has this belief caused us to read over many startling Bible passages about the end time and the return of the LORD and His Christ? This article examines beliefs that may have caused us to miss the dramatic significance of the sequence of events described in the book of Revelation.—Richard Fix [Note: Richard Fix now rejects the Bible!]

The Great Propagandist The “Propagandist” of this outside link is the prophesied “man of sin” or the “lawless one”, usually referred to as “the Antichrist”. The wicked Antiochus Epiphanes was only a prototype of the man who is coming! This article corrects some problems associated with older SDA writings that were largely correct (without mentioning it). It further supports, indirectly, the necessity of the building of the prophesied Third Temple. I would have named this article The 2300 Evening and Morning Sacrifices. (As is often the case, I’d like to have done a little bit of editing.)—Ray C. Stedman

Do WE Have the Mind of God? Should Believers Eat at Restaurants on the Sabbath? Many Sabbath “keepers” turn a blind eye to this issue but if your conscience has sent you a warning notice and you simply ignore it—there will be a price to pay when Yehovah inquires about it on Judgment Day—Jennifer Mullen

Is the Seventh Day the Sabbath—Yes or No? When is the Messiah’s Sabbath? What day are we supposed to go to “church” or have a Sabbath assembly? Does it matter to Yehovah which day we keep? With all the billions of professing Christians in the world studying theology, the answers to these questions should be obvious! With the entirety of Christendom professing to believe the Holy Bible, it should be absolutely impossible for Christianity to overlook Yehovah’s appointed day of worship. After all, what could be more basic than to worship the one true God on the correct day? The correct day to worship God is obviously Sunday—or is it? Can the billions be wrong? Have sincere people been duped into going to church on the wrong day? Is it even remotely possible that virtually all of Christendom has been deceived? To even contemplate such a scenario seems absurd—but is it true? Has Christianity, as a whole, fallen victim to one of the most successful hoaxes in history? Who is right—the majority or the minority? Read on to discover the astonishing truth!—Gary Martin, March 27, 2004

Remember The Sabbath Day, to Keep it Holy The article, Understanding the Sabbath Commandment, (listed alphabetically below) further elaborates on this eternal life issue. While this was originally written to instruct long time “Church of God” Sabbatarians, as the opening statements indicate, anyone wanting to obey the Ten Commandments would benefit from this.—Frank W. Nelte, August 1996.

The Sabbath Was Made For Man. This is the best basic Sabbath “lecture” I have ever heard. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to have answers readily in mind for anyone who inquires of them about the hope that lies within them. Better yet—dare your Sunday friends to listen to it!—Don Esposito May 2000. At the bottom of his web page is a snail mail address. Ask for this title by name.

Truth Triumphant—the Church in the Wilderness While it should be understood that the “woman” who fled into the “wilderness” is Israel: Revelation 12:1-14. (She gave birth to the Messianic “Child” v.4) Another “woman” in the Wilderness is found in Revelation 17: “So He carried me away in the Spirit [realm] into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of names of blasphemy...” (Revelation 17:3-6) Nevertheless, this book is an excellent and inspiring historical source of our collective Sabbatarian heritage. Sabbatarian history can never be the property of any particular sect of Commandment Keepers. Perhaps this is why the author ended his historical book just prior to the advent of today’s corporate “churches”.—Benjamin Wilkinson Ph.D.

Understanding the Sabbath Commandment If all you do is rest on the Sabbath then you are breaking it! So how does Yehovah want us to celebrate His Sabbath? And WHY has Yehovah not spelled out the instructions pertaining to the Sabbath in more detail? Why do we personally have to make so many decisions about which activities are acceptable for the Sabbath and which are not acceptable? As usual, this was addressed to a “COG” audience. Frank W. Nelte has unraveled a mystery that has escaped the attention of most Sabbatarians since the Vulgate and the Septuagint were written. May, 2001

Where is Father’s International Dateline? Where Does the Sabbath Begin? On a round globe, every day must have a starting and an ending point. Did God (Yehovah) wait for centuries, after explorers circumnavigated the earth, for the British to define when the day begins? Most Christian churches say “yes”. Man begins the day in the dead of night and about as far away from Jerusalem as is possible! Shouldn’t that raise a red flag? This article has real implications for Sabbath keepers over much of the earth!—Richard Fix, May 2000. Updated January 2002. Edited by

The truth will set you free, but it also might get you killed. An interesting little video presentation from the Health Ranger.

New Notes on the Nephilim: The Giants of Old You’ve heard the story told by Augustine (334-430 AD) (Wikipedia) and adopted by reformers such as Luther and Calvin that when the Bible says: “that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose” (Genesis 6:1-2), simply has to do with ordinary humans and that: “There were ‘giants’ [Hebrew: Nephilim] on the earth in those days [prior to the flood], and also afterward [after the flood—see verse 6] when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them ...”—that nothing supernatural was involved. Prior to Augustine, all of Christianity and Judaism had the real story! Here is the rest of the story gleaned from seven writers.

Origin Of The New World Order: While it is always good to be informed as to current world events and conditions, it is also very crucial that God’s true people be fully aware of the real reasons and causes for the approaching specter of Globalism. To be informed in this critical area-to truly understand who and what is genuinely behind the intrigue, the chicanery, the collusion-requires that we take a look back-back into the dimness of antiquity—back to the very beginning!—By Jim Rector [This is also the best explanation of the tales of Atlantis I’ve ever heard of. Of course I take exception to the name Lucifer and Yahweh.

The Name Lucifer Has Satan deceived you about Lucifer? Lucifer, the “light bringer”, was framed! Jerome amended the Latin Vulgate Bible to include a slight of hand trick that virtually no one—modern translators included—has ever detected!—Frank Nelte

What in the World is Satan Doing? I consider this to be a very basic booklet about Satan. But then nothing is basic if you have not yet explored it. Today, most people believe that Satan is a mythological being or merely a figurative term for everything evil. Peasants in the Middle Ages had a better understanding! I am not quick to dismiss the plethora of eye witness accounts concerning occult manifestations described in hundreds of books over countless centuries. Yet the New Age “hero” of these books is really the ages old serpent that deceived Eve! The astonishing things that I have are not worth relating since they did not happen before your eyes. Yet I hope that you don’t learn about the “knowledge of good and evil” first hand.

Treating the Farm as an Ecosystem: Agriculture is as unsound as religion! Even organic agriculture is out of balance. Want to do even more?

Back to Eden Gardening is the world’s easiest and most successful Gardening method. Here it is in introductory form. I began using a similar method as a child in 1964 after reading Ruth Stout’s “No Work Gardening” book. My dad let me have a garden about the size of Ruth’s. I was already a fan of J._I._Rodale. I remember sending him a 14 page letter asking him why he didn’t advocate “kosher” foods, since he published Prevention magazine, and was the originator of the term “organic”, as in Organic Gardening magazine. I was thrilled that Rodale wrote me back (mentioning that he had trained to be a Rabbi). I was just as thrilled to talk to Paul Gautschi recently, and we are much more on the same page regarding Biblical topics. I mentioned the many truck loads of wood chips I began accumulating in 2007 when I made the switch from hay and straw. See even more from Paul here!

Bible Codes? I have not studied Bible codes much yet. There are popular “codes” that “prove” things that are simply not true, but then there are codes that mathematically ring true, reinforcing the plainly explained truths of the Bible. Here is one of those. For the most part tho, I would rather people learn to unravel mysteries that are written “precept upon precept; line upon line” first.

Did You Know That All Israelites Are Also Gentiles? Sure you’re skeptical, I certainly was—until I began reading the evidence! Long before you are finished reading this article you will agree that you have been snookered on this one.—Frank Nelte

Signs in the Stars? God (Yehovah) condemns astrology but did you know that He created the Zodiac? Yep, the translators usually just use the Hebrew word “mazzarah” rather than risk offending people by using the English equivalent—“zodiac”. Mazzarah as seen in Job 38:32, is defined as “the 12 signs of the Zodiac and their 36 associated constellations”. “The heavens declare the glory of Yehovah” if you know where to look. Start looking in Lambert Dolphin’s excellent overview of this amazing topic.

Note on Sermons or “lectures”

It is a little considered fact, but sermons are not Biblically endorsed. Interactivity is! (1 Corinthians 14:30-31). Nevertheless, some “monologues” are quite beneficial so long as you have a big stop button on your machine and everyone knows to yell “stop the tape” whenever they want to comment on anything—hence makeshift dialog. “Lectures” can prime interactive dialog in smaller groups with few speakers. Tapes on this list are provided free from the addresses provided. (Matthew 10:8). I do not necessarily endorse other tapes from the same sources—see my disclaimer. Side issues will naturally vary from what is explained on this site. I am seeking specific recommendations on adding to this list from anyone familiar with the type of material already on this site, since I seldom use audible information myself.

Pagan Christianity “Have you ever wondered why we Christians do what we do for church every Sunday morning? Why do we ‘dress up’ for church? Why does the pastor preach a sermon each week? Why do we have pews, steeples, choirs, and seminaries? This volume reveals the startling truth: most of what Christians do in present-day churches is not rooted in the New Testament, but in pagan culture and rituals developed long after the death of the apostles...Many cherished church traditions embraced today originated not out of the New Testament, but out of pagan practices. One of the most troubling outcomes has been the effect on average believers: turning them from living expressions of Christ’s glory and power to passive observers...Pagan Christianity ...challenges every aspect of our contemporary church experience”.— by Frank Viola and George Barna (Revised and Expanded).”

Books From the Better Old Days

The purpose of the following older texts is not in any way meant to be an endorsement of everything that is stated within these pages. The purpose is to get you to ask questions that you have never asked before! If you never ask yourself the questions you will most definitely never know the answers. Still, the answers within these older references are often remarkably satisfying. Most of these were written prior to when the latest waves of liberalism hit theological shores.

Christian Classics Ethereal Library Did you ever want to read what a Christian writer had to say about any topic. This site has the writings of hundreds of writers spanning many centuries. While little of it is inspired, much can be gleaned. Much of learning comes from asking the right questions and considering other peoples findings. Sure, the answers are all in the Bible but you need to ask the right questions. Turn the statements of these writers into questions, then seek the answers. See where your ancestors got off track. Keep your descendants from repeating the past. Incidentally, the writers of centuries past spent less time in front of a TV and more time with Bibles. Gems can often be sifted from the sand.

1911 Edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica This is still considered to be the best encyclopedia ever written. The entries are far more informative (often 5-10 times longer) than the dumbed down stuff available now. As a bonus, none of the contributors had ever heard the phrase “politically correct”! The information on religious topics alone makes this an excellent resource. Some topics have the thoughts and opinions of others on separate tabs—much like Wikipedia. “It contains over 40,000 articles written by over 1,500 authors within their various fields of expertise. What was particularly remarkable was that many of the entries were written by the most famous people of the age. As such, it was considered to represent the sum of human knowledge at the beginning of the 20th Century”.

Herman L. Hoeh’s Compendium of World History This is a two volume history book that I found to be quite interesting over thirty years ago when I read it. It challenges the findings of historians who disregard the Biblical record. Some day I hope to read it again.

Jamieson, Faucett and Brown Commentary Commentary on the Whole Bible. This is one of the most reliable sources. It was composed before the modern liberal movement, which caused Protestantism to go from bad to worse.

Matthew Henry Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible “Henry’s one volume Concise Commentary provides a condensed look at nearly every verse in the Bible. The original was written in 1706.”

The New John Gill Exposition of the Entire Bible “He preached in the same church as C. H. Spurgeon. Gill is little known, but his works contain gems of information found nowhere outside of the ancient Jewish writings. Gill presents a verse-by-verse exposition of the entire Bible.”

The Two Babylons This book proves that Papal worship is equivalent to worshiping Nimrod and His Wife! By Alexander Hislop. First published as a pamphlet in 1853—greatly expanded in 1858.

Websters 1828 Dictionary “No other dictionary compares with the Webster’s 1828 dictionary. The English language has changed again and again and in many instances has become corrupt [take the word ‘rapture’ for example]. ‘The American Dictionary of the English Language’ is based upon Yehovah’s written word, for Noah Webster used the Bible as the foundation for his definitions. This standard reference tool will greatly assist students of all ages in their studies. From American history to literature, from science to the Words of Elohim, this dictionary is a necessity. For home schoolers as well as avid Bible scholars it is easy, fast, and sophisticated. The 1828 dictionary reflects our nation’s Christian heritage, and the Christian philosophy for life, government, and education.”

Introduction

Also featured on this site is The Testimony of Yeshua—Gabriel Version of the so-called “New Testament”. When I read Was the New Testament Really Written in Greek? (mentioned above), I learned that the so-called “New Testament” was really translated from the Aramaic Peshitta into Greek, and not the other way around. I also learned that no modern Aramaic to English version was available for quotation without copyright restrictions. Since my book, Mysteries of the Everlasting Kingdom uses many hundreds of Bible quotations, I immediately decided to update Murdock’s 1851 public domain translation. In 2007, when I put my preliminary word processed only “New Murdock Version” on line, I don’t even think there were any Modern English Peshitta versions available other than the extremely copyright protected 1933 Lamsa, and I would rather read the NASB or the NKJV than the Lamsa. The Gabriel is the only completely modern Testimony of Yeshua (New testament) based on His native Aramaic language that is designated as Creative Commons, or simply having One Right Reserved. (Very recently several Aramaic/English versions have been made available.)
