The Testimony of Yeshua
REVELATION 11-22 (Gabriel Version)
Revelation 11: I,
John, was given a reed like a rod, and the
Messenger stood, saying, “Get up, and measure the Temple
[1] of
Yehovah, and the altar, and those who worship there.
2 But leave out the court that is outside of the Temple, and dont measure it, because it has been given to the other nations, and they’ll trample the
dedicated city underfoot for forty-two months.
3 Then I’ll
commission My Two Witnesses. They’ll prophesy one thousand and two-hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two menorahs
[2] that stand before the Aloha of the earth.
5 If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and consumes their adversaries, and if anyone wants to harm them, he must be slain in this manner.
6 They have the power to shut up the skies, so that the rain wont fall in those days, and they have power over
bodies of water, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with any disaster as often as they want.
7 When they have finished witnessing, the wild beast that came up from the abyss will war against them and conquer them.
8 Their dead bodies
will be in the open street of that great city, that is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where their Master was crucified.
9
Most of the world’s nations, the
twelve tribes,
various ethnicities and
languages will look on their dead bodies for three and a half days, and wont allow their dead bodies to be buried.
10 Those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and revel, and send presents to each another, because those two prophets tormented the people who live on earth.
11 After these three and a half days, the the
breath of
Life from Yehovah entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on everyone who saw them.
12 They heard a great voice from the sky that said, “Come up here”. They ascended to the sky in a cloud as their enemies looked on.
13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and the number of people killed in the earthquake was seven thousand, the survivors were afraid and praised Yehovah.
14 The second calamity is passed, and third calamity is coming quickly!
15 The seventh Messenger sounded
his shofar, and there were voices and thunders that said, “The kingdoms of the world have become
the kingdoms of Yehovah and of His Messiah, and
They will reign forever and ever”.
16 The twenty-four Elders who were in the presence of Yehovah’s throne
[3], who were sitting on their seats, fell to their faces, and worshiped Yehovah,
17 saying, “We praise you, O Yehovah Almighty, who is, and was, because You’ve assumed Your great power and reigned.
18 The nations were angry, and Your anger has come, and it’s time for the dead to be judged, and for You to
compensate Your
servants, the prophets, and the faithful, and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and also to destroy those who are destroying the earth.
19 The Temple of Yehovah in the sky was opened, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His Temple, and there were lightning, thunders, voices, an earthquake, and great hail.
[1] Here John is actually told to measure the end time third Temple, just prior to the Two Witnesses commission (v.3). Measuring the temple is described 29 times in Ezekiel 40-42. This would explain the previous verse (10:11): “John, you must prophesy AGAIN before many nations, and peoples, and princes, and kings”. Is he one of the two witnesses or one of their companions? Same goes for Elijah. Does Father Travel in Time?
[2] This is a reference to Zechariah 4, verse 11 in particular, equating the seven branched Hebrew menorah with the Greek luchnia. Both are usually translated as “candle sticks” or “lamp stands”.
[3] The Greek has the elders in this verse sitting on thrones [thronos], rather than Yehovah on His, unlike 4:2-4, 7:11, and 19:4.
Revelation 12: A miraculous sign was seen in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 Being pregnant, she cried with birth pains, pains of delivery.
3 Another miraculous sign appeared in the sky, a great fiery dragon that had seven heads and ten horns, and on his head were seven crowns!
4 His tail drew along a third of the stars of the heavens and threw them to the earth. The dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, intending that when she delivered Him, he would devour her child. [1]
5 She bore a male Child, who was to rule all nations with a scepter of iron. Her Child was caught up to Yehovah and to His throne.
6 The woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared for her by Yehovah, where They could nourish her for a thousand two hundred and sixty days.
7 There was war in the sky, Michael and his Messengers fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought,
8 but they were defeated, and they could no longer
inhabit the sky.
9 The great dragon was thrown out, the old serpent, who is called the Deceiver, and Satan, who seduces all the inhabited world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels were thrown out with him.
10 I heard a great voice from the sky that said, “
eternal Life has come, and the power and the Kingdom of our
Aloha, and the dominion of His Messiah, because the Accuser of our
Friends, who accused them day and night before our Aloha is thrown out.
11 They overcame him, because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of their spoken testimony, they didnt love their lives, even to death.
12 So Heaven be joyful, and those of you who live there. Pity the earth, and the sea, because the Deceiver has come down to you, being very angry, because he knows that he has little time left”.
13 When the dragon saw that he was thrown to the earth, he persecuted the woman, who had given birth to the male Child.
14 To the woman were given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she could fly into the wilderness, to her
place of habitation, where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time from the presence of the serpent.
15 The serpent poured from his mouth water like a river, after the woman, so that he could cause her to be carried away by the flood.
16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the flood that the serpent poured from his mouth.
17 The dragon was
provoked to anger against the woman, and he went to war against her
remaining survivors, who obey the Commandments of Yehovah AND have the
Testimony of Yeshua.
[1] This refers to the whole house of Israel being reborn as a nation—not just Judah (Isaiah 66:7-11). Verse 7 mentions the Son being born, but verse 8 continues the process: “As soon as Zion had labor pains, she gave birth to her children!”. Israel is the “woman clothed with the sun...moon...stars” (Genesis 37:9).
Revelation 13: As I stood on the sand of the sea [1], I saw a wild beast come up from the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads were names of blasphemy.
2 The wild beast that I saw was like a leopard. His feet were like those of a wolf [2] and his mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave him his own power and his throne, and great authority.
3 One of his heads was fatally wounded and his fatal wound was healed. All the earth was amazed and followed the wild beast. They worshiped the dragon, because he had given authority to this wild beast, and they said, “Who can war against him”?
4 They worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to this wild beast, and they said, who can wage war on him?
5 He was given a mouth to speak arrogant and blasphemous things, and authority was given to him to operate for forty-two months.
6 He opened his mouth in blasphemy towards Yehovah, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, and those who dwell in Heaven.
7 He was given authority over
the twelve tribes and
every other people, language and nation, and it was granted to him to wage war with the faithful, and to overcome them.
8 Everyone who lives on earth, whose names arent written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, (slain from the foundation of the world), will
fall prostrate before Him.
9 Anyone who is perceptive, perceive this.
10
Anyone leading
others into captivity, will go into captivity himself, and anyone who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.
This is where the perseverance and the faith of the faithful
is tested.
11 I saw another wild beast coming out of the earth. He has two horns like those of a lamb, and he was speaking like the dragon.
12 He was exercising all the authority of the first wild beast, that preceded him, raised to life after a deadly wound.
13 He was performing great wonders, even causing fire to come down from the sky onto the earth, in front of humanity.
14 He deceived the inhabitants of the earth into erecting an image to the wild beast who had a sword wound, and recovered.
15 He was allowed to put life into the image of the wild beast, and to cause anyone who wouldnt worship the image of the wild beast to be killed.
16 He caused everyone, great and small, rich and poor, bond and free, to receive a mark on their right hands, or on their foreheads,
17 so that no one could buy or sell except for those who had the mark of the name of the wild beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom, anyone who has understanding should compute the number of the wild beast, because it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
[1] Murdock actually relocated this phrase and made an 18th verse of chapter 12.
[2] The Greek says “bear”.
Revelation 14:
1 I looked in amazement as a Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him were one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
2 I heard a sound from the sky that sounded like large
waves of the sea, resembling the sound of numerous thundering, and the sound that I heard was like harpists playing their harps.
3 They sang a new song before the throne, and before the four living beings and the elders, and no one was able to learn that song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who were
purchased from the earth.
4 They are the ones who havent defiled themselves with women, they are virgins. They are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. Yeshua has purchased them from humanity, the firstfruits of Yehovah and the Lamb.
5 No falsehood was found in their mouths because they are
as morally unblemished as sacrificial lambs.
6 Then I saw another Messenger flying in the sky with the everlasting
Good News, to give to everyone living on earth—every nation, tribe, language and people.
7 He said with a loud voice, “Worship Yehovah and praise Him, because His Judgment
Day has come, worship the One who made Heaven and earth, the sea, and the springs of water.
8 Another Messenger, the second, followed him, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that made every nation drink the wine of the rage of her prostitution”.
9 Another Messenger, the third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “Whoever worships the wild beast and his image, and
takes his mark on their forehead or on their hand
10 will also drink the wine of the wrath of Yehovah that is poured undiluted into the cup of His punishing anger, and will be tormented with fire and sulfur
[1] in the presence of the Messengers, and in the presence of the throne
[2].
11 The smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever, and there is no rest, day or night
[3] for those who worship the wild beast and his image”.
12 Here is the patient endurance of the faithful, who
preserve the Commandments of Yehovah, and are
fully convinced about Yeshua.
13 I heard a voice from the sky saying, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on’”! “Yes”, says the spirit. “They’ll rest from their toils, and the record of their deeds will accompany them”.
14 I looked, and there was a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One who was like the Son of Man, and on His head was a crown of gold, and in His hand a sharp sickle!
15 Another Messenger came out of the Temple, and called out loudly to the One who sat on the cloud [4].
16 He swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was harvested.
17 Another Messenger came out of the Temple that is in the sky [5], also having a sharp sickle.
18 Another Messenger came out from the altar with authority over fire. He called out loudly to the one who had the sharp sickle, and said, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vineyard of the earth, because the grapes of the earth are ripe”.
19 The Messenger swung his sickle toward the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the winepress of the wrath of the great Aloha.
20 The winepress was trampled, [6] blood coming up to the horses’ bridles for sixteen hundred furlongs.
[1] Note the timing. Anyone belligerently worshiping the beast or taking his mark AFTER the Good News is announced to “everyone living on earth” (v.6) and AFTER the fall of Babylon (v.8) is in big trouble.
[2] The Greek says “Lamb” instead of “throne”.
[3] The comment “day or night” indicates that the location is “above ground”. The belligerent will suffer continually until the beast that they worship is thrown into the abyss where he cant be worshiped any longer.
[4] “Take your sickle and harvest, because harvest time has come, the harvest of the earth is ripe” isnt in the Aramaic.
[5] Only the context differentiates the “sky” from “outer space”, from the “northern part of heaven” where the Father and His Son have been residing. When New Jerusalem or “heaven” comes to earth, this will change. John 14:23 is literal: “We will come to Him”.
[6] The Greek adds “outside of the city”.
Revelation 15: I saw another miracle in the sky, great and wonderful, seven Messengers, having the seven last
calamities. With these Yehovah’s wrath is finished.
2 I saw, as it were, a sea of glass
[1] mixed with fire, and those who had been victorious over the wild beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name were standing on the sea of glass, and they had the harps of Yehovah.
3 They were singing the song of Moses
[2] the servant of Yehovah, and the song of the Lamb singing, “Great and marvelous are Your deeds, Master Yehovah Almighty, just and true are Your ways, O King of the ages.
4 Who wont fear you Master and glorify Your name, since You alone are pure and just. Every nation will come and worship in front of You, since Your righteousness has been revealed”.
5 After this I looked, and the Temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in the sky was opened.
6 The seven Messengers who had the seven plagues went out of the Temple, clothed in pure splendid linen, each wearing a
vest around his chest, vests of gold.
7 One of the four living creatures gave seven golden bowls to those seven Messengers,
they were full of the wrath of Yehovah, who lives forever and ever.
8 The Temple was filled with smoke, from the magnificence of Yehovah and from His power, and no one was able to enter the Temple until the seven plagues of the seven Messengers were finished.
[1] The “SEA of GLASS”, described as “like crystal” in Revelation 4:6, is the same as the “icy crystal” “firmament” (“vault of heaven supporting WATERS above”) of Ezekiel 1:22.
[2] The Song of Moses is mentioned in Deuteronomy 31:22-23. It is about Israel entering their dedicated Land. That is exactly what will be happening again when this prophecy is fulfilled.
Revelation 16: I heard a voice [1] that told the seven Messengers, “Go out and pour those seven bowls of the wrath from Yehovah onto the earth”.
2 The first one went and poured his bowl on the earth, and there was a malignant and painful ulcer on the people who had the mark of the wild beast, who had worshiped his image.
3 The second Messenger poured his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, like that of a dead person, and every breathing creature [
soul] in the sea died.
4 The third Messenger poured his bowl on the rivers and the springs of water, and they became blood.
5 I heard the Messenger of the water say, “You are righteous, O dedicated One, who is and who was, because You’ve judged them.
6 They shed the blood of the faithful and the prophets, and now You’ve given them blood to drink because they deserve it”.
7 I heard one from the altar say, “Yes, Master Yehovah Almighty, Your judgment is true and righteous”.
8 The fourth poured his bowl on the sun, and he was appointed to scorch humanity with fire.
9 People were scorched with great heat. They blasphemed the name of Yehovah, who has authority over these plagues, but they didnt
amend their ways and praise Him.
10 The fifth poured his bowl on the throne of the wild beast, and his kingdom was darkened, and they gnawed their tongues from pain.
11 They blasphemed the Aloha of Heaven because of their pains and ulcers, but didnt amend their behavior.
12 The sixth poured his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water dried up, so that a passage would be prepared for the kings of the east.
13 I saw three unclean spirits like frogs
coming from the mouth of the dragon, and from the mouth of the wild beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet.
14 They are the spirits of demons who perform miracles, going out to all the kings of the entire inhabited world, to gather them to the battle of
the great day of Yehovah Almighty.
16 They were gathered together in a place called in Hebrew Armageddon [3].
17 The seventh poured his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the Temple, from the throne, that said, “It is done”!
18 There was lightning and thunder and voices, and there was a great earthquake, like nothing that has ever happened since people have inhabited the earth, such a
widespread earthquake, and such
magnitude!
19 The great city was divided into three parts. The cities of the nations fell, and Yehovah had not forgotten to give Babylon the great the cup of wine of His boiling wrath.
20 Every island vanished, and the mountains were no longer visible.
21 Huge hail, a talent in weight, fell from the sky onto humanity, and they blasphemed Yehovah, because the plague of hail was so severe.
[1] The Greek adds “from the temple”.
[2] Notice the context of the previous 2 verses. The beast and the false prophet and demons are preconditioning the world into thinking that the true coming Messiah will be “Antichrist”. Undoubtedly the beast and the false prophet will claim to be the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11. This explains why He is “welcomed” by the combined military might of the entire world in Zechariah 14.
[3] Armageddon is only the staging point for the battle that will take place in the valley of Jehoshaphat (Joel 3:2-12)!
Revelation 17: Then one of the seven Messengers who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me. He said, “Come, I’ll show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is
presiding over the
deluge of people,
2 with who the kings of the earth are practicing prostitution, and the inhabitants of the earth are drunk with the wine of her prostitution”.
3 He led me in the spirit
realm into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a red wild beast that was covered with names of blasphemy. It had seven heads and ten horns.
4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, and she had a golden cup in her hand that was full of
detestable idolatrous things, and the filthiness of her
illicit sexual intercourse [porneia]
that she polluted the earth
with.
5 Written on her forehead was the name: “Mystery, Babylon the great, the Mother of prostitutes, and of the
idolatrous abominable things of the earth”.
6 I saw that the woman was intoxicated with the blood of the faithful, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yeshua. When I saw her, I was amazed, greatly amazed.
7 The Messenger asked me, “Why are you amazed? I’ll tell you the mystery of the woman and of the wild beast that carries her, that has the seven heads and the ten horns.
8 The wild beast that you have seen who was, and is not, is destined to reascend before long out of the bottomless pit, and go his way into perdition [
utter destruction]. The inhabitants of the earth will be filled with amazement—everyone whose names arent written in the Book of Life, having been recorded there ever since the creation of the world—when they see the wild beast: because he was, and is not, and yet is to come
[1].
9 Here is the explanation for the person who has wisdom. Those seven heads are the seven mountains that the woman sits on.
10 There are seven kings, five of them have fallen, one exists now [about 95 AD], and the other hasnt yet come, but when he comes he will only endure for a short time.
11 The wild beast, that was and is not, is the eighth, and is derived from the seven, and is himself headed for utter destruction.
12 The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who havent received royalty yet, but they
take authority, as if kings, with the wild beast for a fixed period.
13 They have one purpose, they’ll give their power and jurisdiction to the wild beast.
14 They’ll wage war with the Lamb and the Lamb will conquer them because He is
Master of masters, and King of kings, and those with Him
were invited, chose
to participate, and
remained faithful”.
15 He told me, “The deluge that you saw where the prostitute sits are nations, and
crowds of people of various ethnicities [ethnos] and languages.
16 The ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, will hate the prostitute and they’ll make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 Yehovah has
given them their passions to their advantage to do His will, and to be of single purpose, and to give their kingdom to the wild beast until these declarations of Yehovah are fulfilled.
18 The woman that you saw is the esteemed city that
controls the kings of the earth”.
[1] This verse is a very close paraphrase of the Weymouth. The Weymouth was freshly translated from the Greek, without reference to previous versions in the nineteenth century. It wasnt simply a revision of the Tyndale as virtually every other Greek translation appears to be. He seems to be the only translator who understood the context—that it doesnt contradict other verses about the Book of Life.
Revelation 18: After these things I saw another Messenger come down from the sky. He had great authority and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.
2 He shouted with a powerful voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great. It has become a home for demons, and the
prison of every unclean spirit, and the home of every
unkosher and hateful bird, and the home of every unkosher and hateful animal.
3 Every nation has drunk the wine of her wrath, and the kings of the earth have participated in her prostitution, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the
power of her
excessive strength”.
4 I heard another voice from the sky saying, “Come out of her My people
[1], so that you dont participate in her sins, and dont receive her plagues.
5 Her sins have reached up to Heaven, and Yehovah has remembered her evil
behavior.
6 Pay her back, the way she has paid, and give her double, proportionate to her deeds. In the cup that she has mixed, mix her double.
7 To the degree that she has praised herself and lived in luxury, to that degree give her torture and sorrow. Because she says to herself, “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and I’ll see no sorrow”.
8 So in one day her calamities will come—death, and mourning, and famine. She will be burned with fire, because our Master Yehovah who judges her is strong.
9 The kings of the earth who committed prostitution with her, reveling in luxury, will cry and mourn and wail over her when they see the rising smoke of her burning,
10 as they stand in the distance, fearful of her touchstone [2] saying, “What a waste! The great city Babylon, the powerful city, your judgment came in a single hour”!
11 The merchants of the earth will mourn over her, because no one purchases their cargo,
12 no more cargo of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet, various aromatic woods, vessels of ivory, no more vessels of very precious wood, brass, iron, marble,
13 cinnamon, perfumes, spices, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, beasts of burden, sheep, horses, chariots, and the bodies and minds of men.
14 The fruit that your
inner selves [
psuche (psyche)]
lived for has left you, and everything delicious and splendid has died, and those who trade in them will never obtain them again.
15 Those who were enriched from her will stand in the distance, terrorized by her torment, crying and mourning,
16 saying, “What a waste, the great city that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and arrayed with gold and precious stones and pearls,
17 because in one hour, all of this wealth has been destroyed”
[3]. Every captain and every navigator sailing anywhere, and the mariners, everyone who made their living from the sea stood in the distance.
18 They cried when they saw the smoke of her burning as they said, “What
other city is like this great city”!
19 They threw dust on their heads, and cried, wailing, and mourning as they said, “What a waste, that great city, where everyone who had ships in the sea became rich, by her abundance of costly things, because in one hour she has been destroyed”.
20 Rejoice over her, O Heaven, and you Messengers, and envoys, and prophets, because Yehovah has taken vengeance on her because of you.
21 A Messenger picked up a stone like a giant millstone, and threw it into the sea and said, “This is how Babylon, the great city will be thrown down with violence and will never again be found.
22 The voice of harpists and musicians and pipers and trumpeters will never be heard in you, and no craftsman of any trade will ever be found in you.
23 The light of a candle wont be seen in you, nor will the voice of a bride or groom be heard in you. Your merchants were the influential men of the earth, and every nation was seduced by your sorceries.
24 In her was found the blood of prophets and faithful, and everyone who has been slain on the earth”.
[1] This is as literal as the rest of the chapter. It means flea from the territory of the ten kings, or die.
[2] Basanizo means: “1) to torture, a testing by the touchstone, which is a black siliceous stone used to test the purity of gold or silver by the colour of the streak produced on it by rubbing it with either metal” —Online Bible Greek Lexicon
[3] Murdock either arbitrarily or accidentally put part of v.17 in v.16, against the traditional universal placement. Lamsa coincidentally did the same thing.
Revelation 19: afterward I heard the loud voices of a large crowd in Heaven saying, “Hallelujah! Deliverance, strength, praise, and honor to Yehovah.
2 True and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her prostitution, and has avenged the blood of His servants that was shed by her actions”.
3 Again they said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke ascends up forever and ever”.
4 The twenty-four Elders fell down, and the four living beings, and worshiped Yehovah who sits on the throne, saying, “
Aw-mane’! Hallelujah”!
5 A voice came from the throne saying, “All of His servants, and everyone who fears Him, small and great, praise Yehovah”.
6 I heard, as it were the voice of a
great gathering of ordinary people, a voice resembling a lot of
rushing water, a voice resembled violent thunder saying, “Hallelujah! Our Master Yehovah the Almighty reigns”.
7 Let’s rejoice and be exceedingly glad and praise Him, because the Marriage Supper of the Lamb has come, and His
fiancée has made herself ready.
8 Her
compensation was to be clothed in fine linen, pure and shining, because fine linen
represents the righteousness of the faithful.
9 He told me, “Write this, ‘Those who are called to the
marriage banquet feast of the Lamb are blessed’”. Then he told me, “My
sayings are the true words of Yehovah”.
11 I saw the sky opened, and a white horse, and the One who sat on it is called Faithful and Genuine, and in righteousness He judges and wages war!
12 His eyes
were like blazing fires, and on His head
were many crowns, and He had names inscribed on them, and one of the names that were written, no one knew except Himself.
13 He was clothed with a vest splattered with blood, and His name is called the
the Word of Aloha.
14 The armies of Heaven followed Him on white horses, dressed in fine linen, pure and
shining white.
15 A sharp two-edged sword came from His mouth, and with it He could strike the nations. He’ll rule the nations with a
royal scepter of iron, and He’ll tread the winepress of the wrath of Yehovah Almighty.
16 He had on His vest and on His thigh the words written, “KING OF KINGS AND SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS”.
17 I saw a Messenger standing engulfed within the rays of the sun, and he shouted to all the birds that fly overhead in the sky, “Come, assemble at this great supper of Yehovah.
18 Eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains of thousands, the flesh of valiant men, the flesh of horses and their riders, the flesh of everyone free-born and slaves, both low ranking and high”.
19 I saw the wild beast, and the kings of the earth and their warriors. They had assembled to wage war with the One who sat on the
white horse, and with His warriors.
20 The wild beast was captured, as well as the false prophet who was with him, who performed miracles in his presence. That is how he deceived those who had received the mark of the wild beast and who worshiped his image. They were both cast as
still breathing mortals into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
21 The rest were
inflicted with mortal death by the sword of the One who sat on the horse, by the
sword that came from His mouth, and all the birds were satiated with their flesh.
Revelation 20: Then I saw a Messenger who descended from the sky, having the key to the abyss, and a huge chain in his hand.
2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent who is the Deceiver and Satan, who deceived the whole world
[1], and he bound him for one thousand years
[2].
3 He cast him into the
abyss [abussos], and closed it up and
sealed him securely, so that he couldnt deceive the nations anymore until a thousand years have passed, but after that he will be released from bondage for a little while.
4 I saw thrones, and
people sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and
I saw the
bodies of those who were beheaded for the
Testimony of Yeshua and for the Words of Aloha. These are the ones who hadnt worshiped the wild beast, or his image, nor had they taken the mark on their forehead or on their hand. They lived and reigned with the Messiah those thousand years.
5
[3] This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and dedicated is anyone who has part in this first
[4] resurrection, over them the second death has no influence, but they’ll be priests of Yehovah and of His Messiah, and they’ll reign with
Them during the thousand years.
7 When the thousand years are finished,
Satan will be released from imprisonment,
8 and will go out to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, and to assemble them for battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
9 They rose up over a wide expanse of the earth, and then encircled the
dedicated assembly of the faithful, the greatly loved city. And fire came down from Yehovah out of the sky, and consumed them.
10 The Accuser who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the wild beast and the false prophet
were cast. They’ll be tormented
[5] day and night for a
period of time,
an age.
11 I saw a great white throne, and the One who sat on it, from whose countenance the earth and sky
fled to safety [6]. The
location of that
inhabited place was not
recognizable to me.
12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and
the books were opened. Another book was opened that is the Book of Life. The dead were judged by the things that were written in the books,
depending on what they had done [7].
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and
Sheol gave up the dead who were in them. They were each judged according to what they had done.
14 Death and Sheol were thrown into the lake of fire. The second death is the lake of fire.
15 If,
after a thoro search, anyone’s
name was not
found written in the Book of Life, they were thrown into the lake of fire.
[1] “who deceived the whole world” was omitted from the Greek.
[2] This chapter offers a rare glimpse of events of the seventh millennium, a period of time noted for beginning (Ezekiel 38) and ending with a Satanic insurrection.
[3] The words: “the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished”, arent in the earliest Syriac and Aramaic manuscripts, or the earliest Greek manuscripts, such as the Codex Sinaitic and Codex Alexandrine. While these latter two have their share of omissions, they do predate this addition. See John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, Daniel 12:2.
[4] A secondary meaning for protos is “first in honor” or “principle”. It isnt necessarily first in time order. In the parable of the sower, the harvest represents the resurrection, and the tares are burned before the wheat is put into the barn.
[5] “If we understand ‘they will be tormented’ to include the Beast and the False Prophet, we must explain the phrase ‘forever and ever’ (as it appears in most versions: eis tous aionas ton aionon). Literally, this means ‘to the ages of the ages,’ and would seem to imply perpetuity. However, we must be careful with the word aion. Its range of meaning runs from ‘a space or period of time’ to ‘a lifetime’ to ‘an age’ to ‘eternity.’ As in all such cases, the context must give the sense.” Also, the primary literal meaning of “tormented” (“heurisko”) is “1) to test (metals) by the touchstone, which is a black siliceous stone used to test the purity of gold or silver by the colour of the streak produced on it by rubbing it with either metal”.
[6] If there are to be 1000 generations of humanity, then we still need the earth intact: (Deuteronomy 7:9, 1 Chronicles 16:15, Psalms 105:8).
[7] The KJV explains that they were judged “according to their works”, yet vast segments of Christendom teach that “works” dont matter on Judgment Day!
Revelation 21: I saw a New Heaven, and a New Earth, because the first Heaven and the first earth had gone
[1], and there was no more sea
[2].
2 I saw the dedicated city, the
New Jerusalem, descending from Yehovah out of the sky, like a fiancée
made ready for her husband.
3 I heard a great voice from the sky that said, “Look, the tabernacle [
dwelling place] of Yehovah is with
humanity [anthropos]. He lives with them, they’ll be His people, and Yehovah will be with them,
yes Yehovah Himself will be with them”.
4 Every tear will be wiped from their eyes, and there will be no more death
[3], or mourning, or crying, nor will the
previous painful state exist anymore, because the previous evil things have
departed.
5 The One who sat on the throne said, “Look, I’m making everything new”. And He said, “Write this down, because these are the faithful and true words of Yehovah”.
6 He told me, “I’m the Aleph and the Tau, the Beginning and the Ending, I’ll allow anyone who is thirsty
to drink freely from the spring of living water.
7 Anyone who is
victorious will inherit these things, and I’ll be their Aloha, and they’ll be My
offspring.
8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the sinful, the polluted, murderers,
male prostitutes, sorcerers
[4], idolaters and all liars are destined for the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, that is the second death”.
9 One of the seven Messengers came to me, who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last calamities, and told me, “Come, I’ll show you the
fiancée [5], the Lamb’s
virgin”.
10 He brought me in the spirit
realm to a great and high mountain, and he showed me the dedicated city of Jerusalem, descending out of the heavens from Yehovah,
11 having the splendor of Yehovah, as a brilliant light, resembling a very precious gem, like a jasper stone, a transparent crystal.
12 It had a massive and high wall that had twelve palacial gates,
[6] and names inscribed on them, that are the names of the twelve tribes of the descendants of Israel.
13 On the east, three gates, on the north, three gates, on the south, three gates, and on the west, three gates.
14 The walls of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve
envoys of the Lamb.
15 The one who spoke with me had a golden measuring reed, so that he could measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 The city was quadrangular, its length was the same as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, at twelve thousand stadia [7], and the length and the breadth and the height of it were all equal.
17 He measured its walls, a hundred and forty-four cubits, the human measurement, that the Messenger was using.
18 The walls were made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
19 The foundations of the city wall were adorned with many types of precious stone. The first foundation, jasper, the second, sapphire, the third, chalcedony, the fourth, emerald,
20 the fifth, sardonyx, the sixth, sardius, the seventh, chrysolite, the eighth, a beryl, the ninth, topaz, the tenth, golden green beryl, the eleventh, jacinth, the twelfth, amethyst.
21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, one for each gate, and each gate was one pearl, and the broad street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 I saw no Temple
[8] in it, because Yehovah Almighty is its temple, and the Lamb.
23 The city didnt need the sun or the moon to enlighten it
[9], because the brightness of Yehovah enlightens it, and the Lamb is it’s menorah.
24 The nations that were
rescued from destruction will live in it’s light, and the
earthly kings will bring the splendor and wealth of the
human family into it.
25 It’s gates wont be shut during the day, (and there is no night [darkness] there).
26 They [those earthly kings] will bring the splendor and honor of the human family into it
[10].
27
No one Levitically unclean will ever enter it, or anyone who
performs idolatrous abominations, or a liar, only those whose
names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life
[11].
[1] This is the equivalent of the new earth that appeared after Yehovah sent a great flood “to destroy the earth” (Genesis 9:11).
[2] The one particular sea that wont exist any longer is the one where our sins were thrown into (Micah 7:19).
[3] The cessation of tears and death is at the very beginning of the Everlasting Kingdom. Compare to Isaiah 25:6-11, particularly v.8. Yet the wicked are excluded from this blessing, as mentioned in John 21:8.
[4] Pharmakeus apparently alludes to drug use.
[5] The root word, (numphe), is “bridal veil”. But who is the fiancée of the Messiah, the “Messiah’s Bride”?
[6] No mention of “angels” in the Aramaic.
[7] The length of a stadia: a “place in which contests in running were held, the one who outstripped the rest and reached the goal first, receiving the prize. Courses of this description were found in most of the larger Greek cities, and were like that at Olympia, 600 Greek feet in length” —OBGL
[8] “used of the Temple at Jerusalem, but only of the dedicated edifice (or temple) itself, consisting of the [Dedicated Place] and the [Most Dedicated Place] (in classical Greek it is used of the temple or cell of the Temple, where the image of gold was placed which is distinguished from the whole enclosure)” —OBGL
[9] Not that the sun or moon will go any where. In fact Aloha swore that they wouldnt in a most significant chapter: Jeremiah 31:35-37. At a fair distance from the city it will come in handy.
[10] Notice that you dont have to die to visit!
[11] Your name should be written in the Book of Life right now!
Revelation 22: He showed me a river of living water, transparent as crystal, flowing from the throne of Yehovah and the Lamb.
2 In the middle of its broad street, and near the river on both sides, are Trees of Life that produce twelve kinds of fruit, they yield a different type of fruit each month, and the leaves of the Tree are for the
medicinal use of the
human family.
3 Nothing there will wither away, and the throne of Yehovah and the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him.
4 They’ll see His face, and His name
will be on their foreheads.
5 There will be no more darkness, and they’ll have no need for the light of a candle, or of the light of the sun, because Yehovah gives them light, and They’ll reign forever and ever.
6 He told me, “These words are faithful and true. Yehovah Aloha of the spirit of the prophets has sent me, His Messenger, to show to His servants the things that must of necessity occur quickly.
7 I will not be
delayed! Blessed is anyone who holds fast to the prophetic statements of this book”.
8 I, John,
actually saw and heard these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the Messenger who showed me these things.
9 But he told me, “Dont do that, because I
serve the same Master, I’m your brother, an
inspired spokesman and a
guardian of the words of this very book. Worship Yehovah”.
10 Then he told me, “Dont seal the words of this document of prophecy, because the time is near.
11 Anyone who is unjust [1] will continue to be unjust, anyone who is filthy will remain filthy, anyone who is righteous will remain righteous, and anyone who is pure will remain dedicated.
12 I’ll come quickly! My compensation is with Me, to give to everyone according to
what they’ve done.
13 I’m the Aleph and the Tau, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Ending.
14 Blessed are those who obey His [Father’s] Commandments [2], so they’ll have the right to the Tree of Life, and can enter thru the gates into the city.
15 Those who are outside of the city are dogs, and sorcerers, and prostitutes, and murderers, and idolaters, and anyone who loves and practices deceit.
16 I Yeshua have sent My Messenger, to testify these things to you, before the assemblies. I’m the offspring of the family of David, and the brilliant Morning Star [3].
17 The spirit and the
fiance say, “Come”. Anyone who hears should say, “Come”. And anyone who is thirsty should come, and anyone who really wants to can receive the living water
as a gift.
18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of this prophetic book, that if anyone adds to them, Yehovah will ADD to them the calamities that are written about in this
book [4].
19 If anyone takes words out of this prophetic book, Yehovah will
TAKE AWAY their
destiny from the Tree of Life, and from the dedicated city that is described in this book [biblion].
20 The One who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I come quickly. Aw-mane’. Come Master Yeshua”!
21 May the
compassion of our Master Yeshua the Messiah be with all the faithful. Aw-mane’.
[1] There are three other Greek words that imply a worse degree of wickedness than unjust. The others seem to be a permanent condition.
[2] Almost every modern English (Wescott & Hort) version of Revelation substitutes “wash your robes” for “obey His Commandments”. See Matthew 19:16-19
[3] Find out what “Morning Star” has to do with “Lucifer”!
[4] They’ll actually experience the Day of Yehovah, (the Day of the Lord)!
End of the Revelation of Yeshua, as recorded by John, the Good News envoy. Praise Yehovah.
