Jude’s Letter, James’ Brother

Index
Introduction

Jude: Jude, a servant of Yeshua the Messiah, and the brother of James, to the called people, the beloved of God the Father, to those preserved by Yeshua the Messiah; 2 Mercy and peace in love, be multiplied to you. 3 My beloved, while I take all pains to write to you of our common life, I need to write to you, exhorting you to maintain a conflict for the faith which was once delivered to the Saints. 4 For some have obtained entrance into the Assembly stealthily, who from the beginning were prophesied* to be condemned; wicked men, replacing* [3346] the *merciful kindness* of Yehovah’ with *unbridled lust* [766], denying the One who is the only Master* [1203] Yehovah, and our Master* [2962], Yeshua the Messiah. 5 I wish to remind you, tho you all know it, that God, after once rescuing the people from Egypt, again destroyed them who believed not. 6 The holy Messengers who didnt keep their primacy, but left their station, He has reserved in chains unknown, under darkness, to the judgment of the great day. 7 As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the surrounding cities, which in like manner followed prostitution and went after strange flesh, are placed beneath everlasting fire, being, doomed to judgment. 8 In the same manner, too, these sensual dreamers defile the flesh and despise authority, and revile excellency. 9 But Michael the archangel, who, in debate with the Accuser, contended about the body of Moses, didnt venture to bring against him a reviling declaration; but said, “The Lord will rebuke you”. 10 But these men blaspheme* things that they dont even understand; but in their natural thoughts they are as unreasonable as animals*, in these things they are a desecration. [5351] 11 Too bad for them; they have followed in the way of Cain; and, as Balaam did, they have lusted for money* [3408]; and will be destroyed, just as those in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are the ones who wreck [4694] your *celebration of the Master’s Supper* [26] feasting [4910] without fear; clouds without rain, moved about by the winds; trees whose fruit has failed, they are without fruit, deserving the second death, and being ripped out by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, that, by their foam, manifest their confusion; shooting stars, for which is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. 14 Of them also prophesied Enoch, who was the seventh from Adam, when he said, “Look, the Lord comes, with myriads of His Saints; 15 to execute judgment on all; and to convict all the wicked, because of all the deeds they have wickedly committed; and because of all the hard speeches, which they, ungodly sinners, have uttered”. 16 These are malcontents who complain about everything, following their lusts; they give *extravagant speeches* [5246]; *appearing as *marvelous wonders*, for the sake of money. 17 But do you, my beloved, remember the words which were before spoken by the heralds* of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah; 18 because they told you, that in the end times there would be scoffers, going after wickedness, according to their lusts. 19 These are those who are “self sanctified” [592], pleasure seekers, not having the Spirit. 20 But, my beloved, be built up anew, in your holy faith, thru the Holy Spirit, while you pray. 21 Let’s keep ourselves in the love of God, while we wait for the mercy of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah to our eternal life. 22 Snatch some of them, from the fire. 23 When they repent, have compassion on them, with fear, hating even the tunic that is defiled by the flesh. 24 To him who is able to preserve you faultless, and spotless, and to establish you without a blemish, 25 before His majesty, with joy, namely, the only God, our Deliverer, by means of Yeshua the Messiah our Lord, be praise, and dominion, and honor, and majesty, both now and in all ages. Amen.
