The Testimony of Yeshua
Setting a Good Example
1st Thessalonians 1: From Paul, Sylvanus and Timothy, to the assembly of Thessalonians in
unity with Yehovah the Father and our Master
Yeshua (
Jesus) Messiah.
May compassion be with you, and peace.
2 We continually give thanks to
Aloha for you all, and constantly mention you in our prayers,
3 and in the presence of YHVH the Father, we remember your works of faith and labors of love, and your enduring anticipation of our Master Yeshua.
4 Friends, we know of your selection, and that
YHVH loves you.
5 The Good News that we brought to you wasn’t by words alone, but with power and with the
kadish spirit and with genuine persuasion. You also know what kind of men we were when we were with you for your sake.
6 You followed our example, and that of our Master, after you welcomed the Word amid severe persecution, with joy from the kadish spirit,
7 so that you set an example for all of the believers in Macedonia and Greece.
8 The Word of our Master has resounded from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in YHVH has become known everywhere, and we don’t need to say anything about you.
9 They talk about how you welcomed us, and how you turned to YHVH from the worship of idols to worshiping the living and true Aloha,
10 awaiting His Son from Heaven, Yeshua Himself, who He raised from the dead, who rescues us from the wrath to come.
1st Thessalonians 2: Friends, you know our visit to you wasn’t a waste of time.
2 As you remember, we had already suffered and been mistreated in Philippi, and
even then amid great conflict
we were emboldened to speak freely with confidence in our Aloha as we presented the Good News of the Messiah to you.
3 Our admonition didn’t spring from error or impure
motives or fraud.
4 But YHVH
tested and approved us before entrusting us with His Good News, so we’re not speaking to please men, but
to please YHVH, who tests and approves our motives.
5 We have never used flattering oratory, as you know, or any pretext for greed, with YHVH as our witness,
6 nor did we seek praises from any of you or anyone else, tho we could have made demands as
envoys of the Messiah.
7 We were as gentle as a mother caring for her children.
8 We loved you, and not only wanted to give you YHVH’s Good News, but also our very lives, because you were so dear to us.
9 Friends, you should remember that we worked hard night and day ‘to earn a living’, so that we wouldn’t be a burden to any of you, as we proclaimed the Good News of YHVH to you.
Be as Blameless as we Were With You
10 You are witnesses, as is YHVH, of how purely and justly and blamelessly we dealt with all the faithful.
11 You know that we treated each of you the way a father treats his own children, comforting and encouraging you.
12 And now we’re urging you to live lives worthy of YHVH, who has called you by name into His Kingdom and His splendor.
13 This is why we never stop giving thanks to YHVH, so that the Word of Aloha that you received from us isn’t like accepting human words, but are actually Aloha’s Word that works so well in you and in everyone who believes.
14 Friends, you who ‘belong to’ Yeshua Messiah have become like the assemblies of YHVH in Judea, in that you
endured the same sufferings from your fellow countrymen, as they did from the Jews
15 who killed our Master, Yeshua Messiah, and persecuted their own prophets as well as us. They are displeasing to YHVH and are the enemies of all of
humanity.
16 They forbid us to speak to other
ethnicities so that they can be
Rescued. They are always filling their ‘stockpile’ of sins.
Furious punishment will
precede their
termination!
17 Friends, we have been separated from you for a short while, (in visible presence, but not in our thoughts), but we are trying very hard to see you face to face again because of our intense longing.
18 We wanted to come to you, I Paul, twice already, but Satan hindered me.
19 What is our hope and our joy and the crown of our rejoicing, unless it’s you, in the presence of our Master Yeshua at His coming?
20 You are our majesty and our joy.
1st Thessalonians 3: When we couldn’t stand it any longer, we resigned ourselves to being left behind in Athens,
2 and sent you Timothy our Friend and fellow servant of YHVH in the service of the Good News of the Messiah , so that he could strengthen and encourage you in your faith,
3 so that none of you would be troubled by these trials, because you know that this is our
destiny.
4 Even while we were with you, we warned you that you would be persecuted, and as you know it has already happened.
5 This is why, when I could no longer stand
the uncertainty, I sent
him to learn about your faith, being afraid that the Tempter might have tempted you and that our endeavors might have been lost.
Fond Memories
6 But now Timothy has returned to us from ‘visiting’ you, and told us the good news about your faith and your love, and that you still have fond memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we long to see you.
7 So Friends, because of your faith we have been comforted amid all of our distress and trouble.
8 And now we can really live, as long as you are standing securely with YHVH.
9 ‘How can we thank’ YHVH enough for all the joy that we ‘experience’ because of you,
10 other than by making requests before YHVH, night and day, that we could see you face to face, and perfect whatever is lacking in your faith?
11 May YHVH Himself, the Father of our Master Yeshua Messiah, make a straight path from us to you,
12 and increase your love for each other and everyone else, just as we love you.
13 He’ll build your character, so that you’ll be faultlessly
kadish,
in the presence of YHVH our Father AT THE COMING of our Master Yeshua Messiah with all His
kadishea [
saints.
1st Thessalonians 4: So Friends, we ask you and strongly encourage you on behalf of our Master Yeshua, to ‘live your lives’ in the way you learned from us, and
strive to please YHVH with ever increasing progress.
2 You know the
instructions we gave you from our Master Yeshua Messiah.
3 It is YHVH’s will that you remain dedicated, and that you stay away from any
sexual immorality,
4 and that each of you would know how to control your ‘body’ in dedication and honor,
5 not craving what is forbidden like heathens who don’t know YHVH.
6 You don’t dare take advantage of or defraud your Friends in this matter, because YHVH avenges these things, as we specifically told you about.
7 YHVH didn’t call you into uncleanness, but into dedication.
8 So anyone who disregards
these things isn’t disregarding man, but YHVH, who has given you His kadish spirit.
9 Now concerning the love of our Friends, you don’t need
for me to write to you, because you are
inherently taught by Aloha to love each other.
10 In fact, you are already doing so to our Friends thruout Macedonia. But Friends, I would encourage you to be even more exuberant.
11 Strive to live quietly, and mind your own business and work with your own hands, as we admonished you,
12 so that your way of life will be respected by those
outside of the assembly and you won’t be
dependent on anyone.
Dont Mourn the Dead Like Everyone Else
13 And Friends, I want you to know that you shouldn’t mourn over those who have fallen asleep
[1] like other people who have no hope.
14 Because if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, we
should also believe that thru Yeshua, YHVH will bring those who have fallen asleep back with Him.
15 We declare this to you by the Word of Aloha’s own authority, that we who survive and are alive when our Master comes will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep [into the Kingdom].
16 Our Master will ‘
personally’ come down from Heaven with a mandate, and with a voice like the
chief Messenger and with YHVH’s shofar, and the dead who ‘belong to’ the Messiah will rise first!
17 Then, we who are still alive, having survived, will be
carried away together with them into the clouds to meet our Master in the expanse. And we will be with our Master forever.
18 So comfort each other with these words.
[1] Until Judgment Day the dead are essentially “sleeping”, awaiting their judgment.
Like a Thieving False Minister
4 But you, Friends, aren’t in darkness. That Day won’t
catch you off guard like a thieving false “minister”,
5 because you are all sons of the light, and sons of the day. You aren’t sons of the night or sons of darkness.
6 So let’s not sleep like
everyone else does, but let’s stay awake and be sober.
7 Because those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
8 But those of us who are sons of the day should be rational, and put on the mail-coat of faith and love, and for a helmet the expectation of eternal Life,
9 because YHVH hasn’t destined us to wrath, but to obtaining
eternal Life by our Master Yeshua Messiah,
10 who died for us, so that whether we’re awake or asleep, we can live together with Him.
11 So continue to comfort each other and help to strengthen each other as you’ve been doing.
12 Friends, we ask you to recognize those who labor among you, and
preside over you in our Master, and instruct you,
13 and highly regard them with abundant love, because of their work, and live in harmony with them.
14 Friends, we encourage you to admonish offenders, comfort the timid, encourage the weak, and be patient with everyone.
15 Be careful to never repay evil with evil, but always ‘seek opportunities for’ doing good to each other and towards everyone else.
16 Always be joyful
17 and never stop praying.
18 Be thankful for everything, because that is YHVH’s will for you thru Yeshua Messiah.
19 Don’t put out the spirits fire.
20 Don’t despise prophesies.
21
Analyze everything and
hold tightly onto anything
beneficial.
22 Run away from anything that even appears to be wicked.
23 May the peace of Aloha make you entirely kadish, and may your whole spirit, consciousness [Gr. psuche—psyche], and body be preserved without blemish until the
royal arrival of our Master Yeshua Messiah.
24 The One who calls you is faithful, and He’ll continue to be.
25 Friends, pray for us.
26 Greet all of our Friends with a kiss ‘of Friendship’.
27 I solemnly commission you, by YHVH, to read this letter to all of the kadishea.
28
May the compassion of our Master Yeshua Messiah be with you.
Aw-main.
[1] or “like a thief in the night”

2nd THESSALONIANS (Gabriel Bible)
Be Worthy of the Kingdom
2nd Thessalonians 1: From Paul, Sylvanus and Timothy, to the assembly of Thessalonians in
unity with Yehovah our Father and our Master Yeshua Messiah.
2 Good will and peace be with you, from
YHVH our Father, and from our Master Yeshua Messiah.
3 Friends, we’re always obligated to give thanks to YHVH for you, as we should, because your faith is continuing to grow, and your love for one another keeps on growing.
4 So we delight in telling everyone in the assemblies of YHVH about you—about your faith and patience, amid all of the persecution and trials that you are enduring.
5 This is evidence of YHVH’s righteous judgment, and that you
appear to be worthy of His Kingdom, because you are suffering so much for it.
6 It is a
righteous decision of YHVH’s to compensate those who are persecuting you now with tribulation
as well!
7 Those of us who are suffering tribulation now, He’ll cause to live again
[1] with us, at the revelation of our Master Yeshua Messiah from Heaven, with a powerful array of His
spirit messengers.
8 He’ll execute vengeance with burning fire
[2] on those who don’t
pay attention to YHVH, and refuse to
heed the Good News of our Master Yeshua Messiah.
9 Their
sentence is condemnation—
eternal destruction, being
banished from the presence of YHVH and from the splendor of His power,
10 when He comes to be honored by His
kadishea [
saints, and to be held in admiration by His faithful ones. That is the Day when our testimony (that also concerns you) will be believed.
11 This is why we continually pray that YHVH will make you worthy of your
calling [invitation], and instill in you a strong desire to do good
things, and the works of faith with power,
12 so that the name of our Master Yeshua Messiah will be praised thru you, and you thru Him by the compassion of YHVH and our Master Yeshua Messiah.
[1] The Aramaic is in agreement with 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 about the dead being raised! The Greek translations only promise “rest”, “relief” or “repose” at this most critical time, but up to hundreds or even thousands of years in the grave should be enough rest!
[2] There is a unique (so far as I know) disagreement among translators as to where to put the “burning fire”—either verse 7 or 8. But far more important is the disagreement about WHO IS IN THE FIRE!The 16 Greek translations I looked at had Yeshua and the “angels” in the fire, while 3 Aramaic versions had the wicked in the fire, as so many prophecies explain, such as Malachi 4:1-3. The context explains that the “vengeance” is for those who won’t “submit”.
Apostasy and the Man of Lawlessness
2nd Thessalonians 2: Friends, regarding the coming of our Master Yeshua Messiah and our
anticipated special assembly
[1] with Him, we urge you
2 not to be
shaken up or troubled by any messages or
spirits or by a letter supposedly sent by us, ‘claiming’ that
the Day of YHVH is
imminent.
3 Don’t let anyone deceive you with some scheme, because
that Day won’t come prior to the
apostasy [Gr. apostasia] and a
certain man of
lawlessness appears—the son of
destruction.
4 He is an adversary who exalts himself above every so-called “god” and anything religiously venerated. He’ll sit in YHVH’s Temple and “
prove” that he is YHVH.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you, I told you these things?
Avoid Hypocritical Believers
6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he’ll appear at the
right time.
7
Mystic Torah breakers are already at work, but they are only being
held back for now, until the one
restraining them is taken out of the way.
8 Then finally THE
Torah breaker [Gr. anomos] will arrive, who our Master Yeshua will
terminate ‘with a single breath’ at His return.
9 His coming is by the
supernatural work of Satan, with great power, miracles and
deceitful illusions,
10 using every kind of
lawlessness action to deceive those who are dying, because they refused to love the truth that could Rescue them.
11 This is why YHVH will send the
superhuman power of deception to them, so that they may believe the lie.
12 Then anyone who refuses to believe the truth and
delights in injustice will be
summoned for judgment.
13 Dear Friends of our Master, thanks are always due to YHVH, from us on your behalf, because YHVH has chosen
eternal Life for you from the beginning, by our being purified by the spirit, and by our belief of the truth.
14 These are the ones who YHVH
called by name thru our
Good News, so that you could share in the splendor of our Master Yeshua Messiah.
15 So Friends, stand firm and persevere in the
body of instructions [teachings, commandments] that you have been taught, whether by
spoken word or by
written message.
16 May our Master Yeshua Messiah Himself, and YHVH our Father, who has loved us and given us the consolation of eternity and something good to anticipate thru His compassion,
17 ‘give you peace of mind’ and establish you in every good word and in every good work.
[1] The root word for this assembly means “to bring together to others already assembled.” Following this special assembly, the barriers of time and space will be gone.
2nd Thessalonians 3: Friends, from now on pray for us, so that the Word of Aloha can spread rapidly everywhere and be praised the way it is with you,
2 and so that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, since not everyone shares our faith [convictions].
3 But YHVH is faithful and He’ll establish you and protect you from the Evil One.
4 And we have confidence in you thru YHVH, that what we have
relayed to you, you have done and will continue doing.
5 May YHVH guide your inner selves toward loving Him and toward the patience of the Meshiha [or “patiently waiting for the Messiah”].
6 And Friends, we command you
in the name of [by the authority of] our Master Yeshua Messiah, to back away from every
professing Friend who lives in wickedness, rather than by the
body of instructions that you received from us.
7 You know how you should follow our example. We didn’t ‘live our lives’ wickedly while with you,
8 nor did we eat anyone’s
food without paying for it, rather, we worked night and day so that we wouldn’t be a burden to any of you.
9 It wasn’t because we have no right, but so we could set a personal example for you to follow.
10 While we were with you, we also gave you the principle that anyone who won’t work, shouldn’t eat either.
11 We hear that some of you are ‘living’ in wickedness, and do nothing of any real value.
12 For people like that, our declaration and encouragement by
the authority of our Master Yeshua Messiah, is that they are to
work quietly from home and eat their own food.
13 Friends, you must never get tired of doing what is good.
14 If anyone doesnt acknowledge these written instructions, then avoid them—keep no company with them, so that they’ll be ashamed.
15 Yet don’t treat them like an enemy, but warn them as a Friend.
16 May YHVH the Peacemaker give you continual peace in every sense. May YHVH be with you all.
17 I, Paul, send this shlomo [greeting, Aramaic for shalom] to you in my own handwriting. It is a distinguishing mark in all of my letters.
18 Friends, may the compassion of Yeshua Messiah be with you all. Aw-main.
