Body Contact - The Dead - Touching the Dead
424. Do not touch the dead bodies of unclean animals (Lev. 11:8).
425. Do not touch or eat the dead carcass of pig (Deut. 14:8).
426. A person bearing the dead body/carcass of an animal is unclean until the evening (Lev. 11:24 & 39) *not clear*
427. Such a person shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening (Lev 11:25 & 40).
428. Send the unclean (lepers, an issue, touching the dead) outside the Camp (Num.5:2-3).
429. Touching a dead body shall make one unclean for 7 days (Num. 19:11 & 16).
430. The person touching the dead body shall purify himself on the 3rd day (Num 19:12) by sprinkling the water of separation/purification on him (Num 19:19) and on the 7 day as well (Num 19:19) and then be made clean on the 7th day. (Num.19:12) after he bathes himself (Num 19:19).
431. The person doing the sprinkling shall wash his clothes as well (Num 19:20) and be unclean until the evening.
432. The person not adhering to this perpetual law (Num 19:20) shall be cut off from the congregation (Num 19:21)
433. The water vessel used for sprinkling shall contain the ashes of the burning of the sin offering, and a hyssop branch shall be used to sprinkle the water. (Num 19:18).) CAN THIS BE DONE TODAY?
434. Purify a person who has touched a dead body with the waters of purification (Num 19:13) CAN THIS BE DONE TODAY?
435. Anyone entering the tent/home where a person has died shall be unclean for 7 days (Num 19:14).
436. Touching the person who touched the dead is also unclean until evening (Num 19:22).
437. Any open container in a house where a man has died is unclean (Num 19:15).

Body Emissions and Fluids
438. A man who has a bodily discharge of fluids shall place himself outside of the camp (Deut 23:10) Check - what does this mean?
439. At evening he shall wash himself and then come back into the camp after the sun sets (Deut. 23:11).
440. Cover the blood of killed animals and fowl with dust (Lev. 17:13).
441. A man having a running issue is unclean (Lev. 15:1-15).
442. Anything this man he lies or sits is unclean (Lev 15:4).
443. A person who sits on lies on such objects is to wash himself and is unclean until evening (Lev 15:6-7).
444. If a man with an issues spits on a man, he shall wash his clothes and himself and be clean until evening. (Lev 15:8).
445. Dishware coming into contact with the person who has the issue shall be disposed of (Lev 15:12).
446. Wood dishware, however (see above) shall be washed with water (Lev 15:12).
447. The seed of copulation shall make a man unclean until evening (Lev. 15:16).
448. He shall leave the camp of Israel and not come back until evening (Deut 23:10). Does this mean the Camp of the Levites? (Deut. 23:11) (according to the Talmud, in the present day this means the Temple mount).
449. He shall wash himself and be clean after the sun goes down (Deut 23:11)
450. All clothing that has the seed of copulation shall be washed and be unclean until evening (Lev 15:17).
451. A new mother of a boy is unclean for 7 days (Lev. 12:2-5).
452. A new mother of a boy shall be purified for 33 days (Lev 12:4).
453. A new mother of a female child is unclean for 2 weeks (Lev 12:5)
454. A new mother of a female shall be purified for 66 days (Lev 12:4).
455. A man having an issue who is cleansed of it shall wash himself and his clothes in running water on th 8th day (Lev. 15:13)
456. The woman shall also be unclean to evening when she lies with the man and his seed of copulation and shall also wash herself (Lev 15:18).
457. A menstruating woman is unclean and defiles others. She is unclean for 7 days and then must take a bath (Lev. 15:19-24).
458. Anything a menstruating women lies or sits upon is unclean (Lev 15:20).
459. Anyone who touches the objects a women lies upon or sits on shall wash themselves and their clothes and be unclean until the evening (Lev 15:21-22).
460. Do not commit intercourse with a woman in her menstrual period (Lev. 18:19).
461. A woman having a running issue (not menstruation?) is unclean, along with her clothes and whatever she sits upon. (Lev. 15:25-27).
462. A man having an issue(other than semen, with touching a woman who has an emission) who is cleansed of it shall wash himself and his clothes in running water on th 8th day (Lev. 15:27)
463. Have a place outside the camp for sanitary purposes (Deut. 23:12).
464. Bury one’s human wastes by keeping a paddle with the weapons of war (Deut. 23:13).

Dietary Laws: (formally called the Law of Beast, Fowls, and Water Creatures (Lev 11:46)
465. These are the beasts/animals which are eatable (Lev. 11:2).
466. Eat clean animals with certain characteristics (Lev 11:3: Deut. 14:6)
467. Do not eat abominable things (Deut 14:3)
468. Do not eat unclean animals with certain characteristics (Lev. 11:4-8, 26-27, 29-31, Deut 14:7).
469. Eat fish with certain characteristics (Lev. 11:9-10; Deut 14:9).
470. Do not eat unclean fish (Lev. 11:11; Deut 14:9).
471. Eat and examine fowl to distinguish the clean from the unclean (Deut. 14:10-11: 20).
472. Do not eat unclean fowl with certain characteristics (Lev. 11:13-19: Deut 14:12-18)

480. Slay clean animals according to my laws if they are eaten (Deut. 12:22) (UNCLEAR scripture).
481. Do not slaughter an animal and its young on the same day (Lev. 22:28).
482. Do not take the mother-bird with its young or its eggs (Deut. 22:6).
483. Set the mother-bird free when taking its nest (Deut. 22:6-7).
484. Do not eat the an ox’s flesh that is condemned to be stoned (Ex. 21:28; 34:26).
485. Do not eat or drink like a glutton or a drunkard (not to rebel against father or mother) (Deut. 21:20).
486. Do not eat the torn flesh of an animal torn by beasts (Ex. 22:31).
487. Cast torn flesh to the dogs (Ex 22:31)
488. Do not eat the flesh of animal that died of itself (Deut. 14:21).
* Do not eat the of the thigh-vein which shrank (Gen. 32:33). Is this Hebrew/Jewish tradition. Because it is not commanded in any of the other 4 books?
Lepers and Leprosy
489. Do not shave the hair off of a scall (pronounce “skull”, a scabby disorder, as of the scalp (Lev. 13:33).
490. A leper is unclean and defiles (Lev. 13:2-46).
491. The leper shall be recognized by prescribed marks. So too, all other unclean persons should declare themselves as such (Lev. 13:38+).
492. A leprous garment is unclean and defiles (Lev. 13:47-49).

493. The procedure of cleansing leprosy, whether of a man or of a house, takes place with cedar-wood, hyssop, scarlet thread, two birds, and running water (Lev. 14:1-7).
494. The leper shall wash his clothes, shave all his hair, and take a bath (Lev. 14:9).
495. Be careful to follow the procedures of leprosy (Deut. 24:8). And the the law of leprosy and how it is to be addressed (Lev 13:59).
Miscellaneous
496. Bury your human wastes in the soil with a shovel when you go to war (Deut. 23:13).
497. Eight species of creeping things defile by contact and one is unclean until evening when contacting them (Lev. 11:28 -30).
498. Foods and containers become defiled by contact with unclean things (Lev. 11:34).
499. Dispose of the dishware which comes into contact with a dead carcass (Lev. 11:35).
Inheritance NOT Applicable
500. The land that God spoke of shall be given to Israel (Lev 20:24, Ex 23:30)
501. The promised land shall be divided as the inheritance according to the names of the tribes.(Num. 26:53)
502. The larger tribe shall received more land than the smaller tribe (Num 26:54).
503. Lots shall determine what tribe has what land (Num 26:55)
504. The Levite shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel. The offerings of the LORD made by fire is their inheritance (Deut 18:2)
505. The Levites shall have 48 cities to dwell in (Num 35:6).
506. The children of the strangers that dwell among you shall ye buy, and of their families which they begot in your land , shall be your possession (Lev 25:45).
507. The sons of the strangers of the promised land shall be given as an inheritance to your sons (Lev. 25:46)
508. The first borne shall receive a double portion (Deut 21:17).
509. The first borne of the less preferred wife shall not be denied the inheritance (Deut 21:16)
510. The daughter shall inherit the father’s estate if he has no son (Num 27:28).
511. The brothers shall inherit the father’s estate if the dead brother has no sons or daughters (Num. 27:9)..
512. The father’s brothers shall inherit the estate of a son who has no son, daughter and no other brothers (Number 27:10).
Kings and Rulers
Applies Today
513. Do not curse a ruler (Ex. 22:28). Principle holds true today for those in authority.
NOT Applicable
514. Appoint a king whom YWVH hall choose (Deut. 17:15).
515. Do not appoint a non-Israelite ruler over Israel. (Deut. 17:15). Note. Our constitution holds this principle today.
516. The King shall not return his people to Egypt (Deut 17:16)
517. The King shall not multiply wives to himself (Deut. 17:17).
518. The King shall not multiply horses, gold, and/or silver to himself (Deut. 17:16-17).
519. The King shall write a scroll of the Torah for himself when he takes the throne (Deut. 17:18).
520. The King shall read the Torah all the days of his life (Deut 17:19).
Labor Rules for Employers, Employees, and Servants NOT applicable generally speaking
521. Employer is not to delay payment of an employee’s wages (Lev. 19:13).
522. Employer to pay wages to the employee at the due time (Deut. 24:15).
* Employee (neighbor) shall be permitted to eat of a crop (e.g. grain, grapes) he is harvesting (Deut. 23:24-25). He shall not take more than he can eat with his hand (Deut. 23:24-25). (Note this is an interpretation: See Agriculture).
523. Do not return a bondservant who has escaped from his master and seeks refuge with you (Deut. 23:15).
524. Do not oppress this servant if he decides to live among you (Deut 23:16)
525. A bondservant shall serve for 6 years and go free in the 7th year (Ex. 21.2).
526. Do not send away a bondservant empty handed when his service ends in 6 years (Deut. 15:13).
527. Give liberal gifts to the Israelite bondservant when his service ends in 6 years (Deut. 15:14).
528. If a bondservant is single when he becomes a bondservant, he shall be freed as a single, if married when he becomes a bondservant, then freed as married. (Ex. 21:3)
529. If the employer gives a bondservant a wife, and they have children, both wife and children must remain if the employee goes free (Ex 21:4).
530. The employer shall make an awl in his bondservant’s ear to symbolize his remaining with his wife, children, and employer. (Ex 21:5-6).
531. Daughters are treated differently than sons as servants (Ex. 21:7).
532. Do not sell an Israelite maid-servant to a foreigner (Ex. 21:8).
533. If your son marries an Israelite maid-servant, treat her like a daughter (Ex. 21:9).
534. If your son takes yet another wife, the estate of the maid-servant wife shall not be diminished. (Ex. 21:10)
535. If he diminishes the estate, the main-servant shall be set free. (Ex 21:11).
536. Your brother Israelite servant shall not do the work of a bondservant, but as a hired servant until the jubilee year (Lev.25:39,40).
537. Do not sell an Israelite as a bondservant (Lev. 25:42).
538. Do not treat an Israelite servant rigorously (Lev. 25:43).
539. Purchase bondservants only from foreign nations (Lev 25:44).
540. Keep the foreigner bondservant forever (Lev. 25:46).
541. Do not treat an Israelite bondservant harshly (Lev. 25:53).

Penalties, Punishment and Restitution for Various Accidents and Crimes NOT Applicable
Bodily Injury and/or Death
542. One who inflicts bodily injury is to pay monetary and medical compensation (Ex. 21:18-19).
543. Punish the master who kills his servant or maid (Ex. 21:20).
544. A man who is strikes and kills another man who is in the act of stealing at night shall not be punished (Ex. 22:2).
545. A man who is strikes and kills another man who is in the act of stealing during the light of day shall make full restitution (Ex. 22:3).
546. If the above man has nothing, he shall be sold as restitution. (Ex 22:3).
547. Exile a person to a city of refuge who commits accidental homicide (Num. 35:25).
548. The exiled person shall dwell in the city of refuge until the High Priest dies (Num 35:25)
549. If he leaves the city if refuge prior to the High Priest’s death, he may be killed by the avenger, and the avenger shall not be held guilty (Num 35:26-28).
550. Seek out a murderer to avenge innocent blood (Deut.19:11-13).
* Six cities of refuge are established for those who have committed accidental homicide (Deut. 19:2-9; Num 35:6) See Priest and Congregation Responsibilities.
Bribery
551. Do not accept money/ransom from murderer to exempt him from his death penalty (Num. 35:31)
552. Do not accept money/ransom from the person committing an accidental homicide to exempt him from exile (Num. 35:32).
Dead Bodies
553. Hang the dead body of one who has committed a sin worthy of death (Deut. 21:22).
554. Do not let hang the dead body of an executed criminal on a tree over night (Deut. 21:23).
555. Bury the executed on the day of execution so that the land is not defiled (Deut. 21:23).
556. Offer a heifer in sacrifice for finding a dead man of which the perpetrator is unknown (Deut. 21:1-9).
557. Kill the heifer in a valley not plowed or sowed and with running water (Deut.21:4).
Property Damage and/or Loss
558. "If a man cause a field or vineyard to be eaten ... the best of his own field (and) vineyard shall he make restitution (Ex 22:5).
559. A person responsible for a fire breaking out and consuming a grain field shall make restitution (Ex 22:6).
560. If a neighbor loses another man’s belongings committed to him for safekeeping and they are stolen; and the thief is found, the thief shall pay double what was stolen (Ex 22:7).
561. If the thief is not found in the above theft, the matter and the neighbor shall be taken to the judges to determine (Ex 22:8).
562. Any trespass for any matter of anything shall be brought before the judges. The guilt shall pay double to his neighbor. (Ex. 22:9).
563. If an animal dies, becomes injured or lost when it is being kept for another; if the keeper of the animal swears an oath that it was not his fault, his word and oath shall be accepted by the owner (Ex. 22:11).
564. If the animal is stolen from him (in the above instance), the keeper shall make restitution to the owner. (Ex 22:12).
565. If the animal is killed by another animal, evidence of the dead animal needs to be presented and restitution made. (Ex. 22:13).
566. If a man borrows anything from his neighbor, and it is hurt, dies and the owner is not present, restitution shall be made (Ex 22:14).
567. If the owner is with the animal at the time of the above incident, it is a hired animal, no restitution shall be made. (Ex 22:15).
Punishment (General)
568. Punish the wicked by stripes (Deut. 25:2).
569. Do not exceed 40 stripes (Deut. 25:3).
570. Do to false witnesses as they had purposed to do to the accused (Deut. 19:16-19).
Sex
571. A man who commits fornication with a unbetrothed virgin shall marry her (Ex 22:16; Deut 28-29) and shall not divorce her. (29)
572. If the father refuses to give his daughter in marriage, the man shall pay a dowry (Ex 22:16)
573. The fornicating man shall pay the father 50 shekels (Deut 22:29)
574. Cut the hands off a woman who injures the private parts of another man engaged in fighting a spouse (Deut. 25:12).
575. The one who has raped a damsel and has then (in accordance with the law) married her, may not divorce her (Deut. 22:29).
Theft
576. Stealing an ox and later killing it or selling it shall repaid fivefold (Ex 22:1).
577. Stealing a sheep and later killing it or selling it shall repaid fourfold (Ex 22:1).
578. If the sheep or ox is found in his hand, he shall repay double (Ex.22:4)
Death Penalty - 20 Cases NOT Applicable.
God
579. 1. Blasphemy against God (Lev 24:14-16,23).
580. 2. Breaking the Sabbath (Ex 31:14, Num.15:32-36).
581. 3. Practicing magic (Ex 22:18).
582. 4. Practicing sorcery and fortune telling (Lev 20:27).
583. 5. Misleading others religiously to fall away from the truth/false prophets (Stoning: Deut 13:1-10;12:4; 18:20). The accuser’s hand shall be the first to execute capitol punishment of death by stoning, and then the rest of the people assembled to carry out the judgment (Deut. 13:9-10).
584. 6. Worshipping idols (Ex 22:20, Lev 20:1-5; Deut 17:2-7).
Humanity
585. 9. Kidnapping (Ex 21:16).
586. 10. Murder (Gen 9:6, Ex 21:12, Num 35:16-21). Selah: What is it with murder that seeming upset the balance of nature - if we may call it that - and where “atonement” can only be bought by the death penalty? Numbers 35:33: “Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.”
Judicial
587. 11. Bearing false testimony at a trial (Deut 19:16, 19).
588. 12. Contempt of court (Deut 17:8-13).
Parents
589. 7. Smiting father or mother (Ex 21:15). See Family, Marriage, and Divorce
590. 8. Stubborn and rebellious sons who are disobedient, gluttons, and drunkards shall be put to death by stoning (Ex 21:18-19). See Family, Marriage, and Divorce
Sexual
591. 13. Adultery (Lev 20:10)..
592. 14. Prostitution/Harlotry (Deut 22:21). The daughter of a priest practicing prostitution (Lev shall be burned with fire (Lev. 21:9).
593. 15. Fornication by the man when a virgin is engaged (Deut 22:23-24).
594. 16. Incest (Lev 20:11-12, 14, 17-21; 22:30). Sentence of death by burning with fire when a man marries his wife and his wife’s mother (Lev. 20:14)
595. 17. Humiliation of the husband. Stone to death to the man who rapes a women in the city and also stone the woman if she does not cry out for help. Deut 22:25-26).
596. 18: Rape: Stone the man when the women is engaged and in the field and cries out (Deut 22:23-24)
597. 19. Animal intercourse - bestiality with animals (Ex 22:19, Lev. 20:15)
598. 20. Homosexuality (Lev 20:13, Deut 22:30).
Property, Property Rights and Responsibilities NOT Applicable
599. Do not sell a field in the land of Israel in perpetuity (Lev. 25:23).
600. The Levites shall not sell fields of their suburbs. (Lev. 25:34)
601. The Levites may redeem in the Jubilee year houses which they have sold in the past (Lev 25:33).
602. None of the tribe of Levi shall take any portion of territory in the land (of Israel) (Deut. 18:1).
603. Houses sold within a walled city may be redeemed within a year and are not required to be returned in the Jubilee (Lev. 25:29).
604. Do not remove landmarks (property boundaries) (Deut. 19:14).
605. Do not swear falsely in denial of another’s property rights (Lev. 19:11 - A Jewish interpretation).

Building Code
609. Roofs are to have parapets (Deut. 22:8).
Redeeming NOT Applicable
610. A brother may buy back his brother’s sold possession’s if they were sold because of poverty (Lev 25:25).
611. A person may buy back his possession if sold because of poverty by counting the years of sale until the Jubilee. (Lev 25:27).
612. If a person cannot buy back his possession, it shall be returned to him in the year of Jubilee (Lev 27:28).
613. A relative who was sold into servitude may be redeemed by a brother or other relative (Lev 27:48).
614. A relative may buy back his relative if sold because of poverty by counting the years of sale until the Jubilee. (Lev 25:51-52).
615. If a person is not redeemed by a relative, his freedom shall be given him in the year of Jubilee (Lev 25:54).
616. Grant redemption to the land in the Jubilee year (Lev. 25:24).
617. Redeem an Israelite maid-servant (Ex. 21:8)
Tithes and Taxes NOT Applicable (Special Comment: because there is no Temple and Levitical priesthood). First note what Samuel states:

* A tithe of the “land” (produce) is the LORD’s (Lev. 27:30; Deut 14:22; ) and are given to the Levites (Deut 18:14; Num. 18:24) because they have no inheritance
SPECIAL COMMENT: The tithe does not say of your ‘hand’ - i.e. labor. Remember there are those who do not work the land, e.g.
Bricklayers, Carpenters, Tailors, Tentmakers, Butchers, and Candlestick makers

* The priests are to keep certain animal parts from offerings/sacrifices for themselves (Deut 18:4)
* The firstfruits of the grain, wine and oil) are for the priest (Deut. 18:4)
* Do not delay in giving the tenth (Ex 22:29)
* Keep the animal for seven days with its mother, on the eighth day give it to the LORD (Ex. 22:31).
A Tenth of a Tithe
618. Levites shall set apart a tenth of the tithes, which they had received from the Israelites, and give it to the priests (Num. 18:26).
Second Tithe
619. Do not to eat and/or drink the second tithe outside Jerusalem/in the place where the LORD your God shall choose (Deut. 12:17; 14:23).
620. Convert the tenth to money if place where the LORD places his name is too far away (Deut 14:24).
621. Buy whatever your soul desires at the Feast. (Deut 14:26).
622. Do not forsake the Levites (Deut. 12:19; 14:27).
623. A priest who is unclean shall not eat of the holy things (Lev. 22:3-4). CHECK what are the holy things.
624. A person who is not a priest or the wife or unmarried daughter of a priest shall not eat of the t’rumah (Lev. 22:10).
625. A stranger, sojourner with a priest or his hired servant shall not eat of the holy thing (Lev. 22:10).
626. Do not eat profane the holy thing offered to the LORD (Lev. 22:15).
627. A priest’s daughter that is a widow, divorced, or is single and lives with her father again, she may eat of her father’s meat. (Lev. 22:13)
628. A man who eats unknowingly of the holy thing shall repay it plus and additional 1/5 to the priest. (Lev 22:14)
Third Tithe (This is open for questioning’ as to its definition and application)
629. Offer a 3rd tithe at the end of every 3 years (Deut 14:28 - the 3rd and 6th year of a Sabbath cycle of 7 years).
630. Give the 3rd tithe to the Levite, stranger, fatherless, and widow (Deut 14:29).
631. Make the oral declaration (see scripture) after giving the second tithe (Deut. 26:13)
Temple Tax
632. Give half a shekel every year (to the Sanctuary for provision of the public sacrifices) (Ex. 30:13).
Warfare, Spiritual Warfare Applies Today?
633. The sons of Aaron shall sound/blow the alarm of the trumpet at the time of war so that God may remember you and deliver you from your enemy (Num 10:8-9). As the royal priesthood, do we have the opportunity to blow the horn when we need His intervention?
Warfare, Physical NOT Applicable
634. Men who have built an new house and not dedicated it shall not go to war (Deut 20:5)
635. Those engaged in warfare shall not fear their enemies nor be frightened, panic, or let your hears faint from them during battle (Deut. 3:22, 7:21, 20:3).
636. Men who have planted a vineyard and not eaten of it shall not go to war (Deut 20:6)
637. Men who are bethrothed shall not go to war (Deut 20:7) and shall be exempt from duty for one year (Deut. 24:5).
638. Appoint a priest to speak to the soldiers in a war (Deut. 20:2).
639. Proclaim peace to a city before laying sieging (Deut 20:10).
640. Do not offer peace to 7 Canaanite nations (Deut. 20:16-17).
641. When a besieged city accepts the peace offer, they are to become your tributaries (Deut 20:11)
642. If the city refuses the offer of peace, the besiege it (Deut 20:12).
643. Put to death all the males of the city by the sword (Deut 20:13).

649. A beautiful woman taken captive in war in the manner may be taken as a wife with a 30 day mourning period by her for her family (Deut. 21:10-13).
650. Do not sell the beautiful woman taken captive in war or make her a bondwoman if you no longer want her for your wife (Deut. 21:14).
651. Follow the statute of the LORD regarding men who go to battle (Num 31:21)
652. Split the spoils into 2 portions: ½ for those who went into battle, and ½ to the tribes of Israel (Num31:29-30). (NOTE: This is “not” the tithe that Abraham paid).
653. From those that went to battle offer a heave offering and then give to the high priests a tribute of the spoils of war of an amount of 1/500 of the humans and animals taken (Num 31:28-29)
654. From the congregation (tribes of Israel) shall give of the spoils of war to the Levites 1/50 of the amount of the humans and animals taken (Num. 31:30).
655. Remember the actions of Amalek that he did not fear God, and did not assist you when you came out of Egypt. (Deut. 25:17-18).

658. Appoint judges and officers in every community of Israel (Deut.16:18).
Judges Responsibilities
659. Judges are not to respect persons in making decisions and are to judge righteously (Deut. 1:17).
660. Judges are to have a decision appealed to a higher authority if they are not an expert (Deut 1:17; 17:8-9).
661. Do not exercise unrighteous decisions by respecting people whether mighty, great, small, rich or poor (Lev. 19:15; Deut 1:17). Do not be swayed in trying a case by the poverty of a person. (Ex. 23:3; Lev. 19:15).
662. Do not decide a case according to the view of the majority of the people who wish to do only evil to a person. (Ex. 23:2). Example: Movie western lynch mobs. Pontius Pilate’s decision.
663. Do not wrest the judgment to the poor in his cause (Ex. 23:6).

687. A person who possesses evidence shall testify in Court (Lev. 5:1).

689. Fairly sell land and merchandise in accordance with the Jubilee year (Lev. 25:14).
690. Do not oppress one another in these matters (Lev 25:15).
